THIS ALBUM IS TIMELESS! THIS MUSIC WAS NEVER THE "NORM", YOU TUBEFOOL! THIS IS GOD'S MUSIC. IT DOES NOT HAVE TIM NOR PLACE ATTACHED TO IT!! THIS SONG IS JUST AS GOOD TODAY AS IT WAS YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS AGED 15, DAMAGING MY BRAIN BY DRINKING WHOLE BOTTLES OF COUGH SYRUP IN GO! AWESOME!!! ATILL MY FAVORITE BANKSY TRACK TOT HIS VERY DAY!
I honestly legitimately can't believe I used to listen to this as a terminally uncool 16 year old girl in suburban Pennsylvania in 1997, I mean, how in the hell did I even connect with this? But this album meant more to me in that year than food or oxygen, no lie. It's truly strange to think of now. I guess what it was, the thing was, I was in an extremely academically competitive high school and under enormous pressure with no outlet, and this music took me to a really dark place that I couldn't go to in the real world. Unfortunately later in life I found my way to those places myself. But I still have a lot of love for this track, it got me through a really bad, really nihilistic negative space in my head a long time ago. Kind of crazy listening to it again all these years later. ❤ RDJ
I'm In a _very_ competitive school as well. I'm struggling, but at least I have Massive Attack to come to when I need to hear deep and powerful tones - it really helps. I hope I can get there eventually, but at the moment it's almost as if the hill is becoming too steep...
Makes you ponder in different worlds. And those who are wondering these existences and realities tend to be connected to this music, this kind of source that drags our imagination into this vast excellent universe of sound.

I seen you go down to a cold mirror
It was never clearer in my era so
You click a shine upon your forehead or
Check it by the signs in the corridor
You light my ways through the club maze
We would struggle through the dub daze
I sink myself in hair upon my lover
It's how you go down to men's room sink
Sad we talk how madmen think
I sink myself in hair upon my lover
I don't know her from another miss
I don't know you from another
See me run now you're gone, dream on
Why you want to take me to this party and breathe
I'm dying to leave
Every time we grind you know we sever lines
Where have those flowers gone
Long time passing
Why you keep it testing, keep on tasking
I keep on asking
Toy-like people make me boy-like
Toy-like people make me boy-like
They're invisible, when the trip it flips
They get physical, way below my lips
And everything you got hoi-poloi like
Now you're lost and you're lethal
And now's about the time you gotta leave all
These good people, dream on
Nicer than the bird up in the tree top
Cheaper than the chip inside my lap top
All the variations you could do with me
Nicer than the girl up in your mind you're free
Automatic crystal remote control
We come to move your soul
You're gonna fade into the background
Like a better smoke'll bring you back round
Like a man slide inside you my dear
Your cheap beer's filled with crocodile tears
See 'em run now you're gone, dream on
Toy-like people make me boy-like
Toy-like people make me boy-like

Massive Attack....Best band ever
Der kreative künsterische Höhepunkt der ausgehenden 90gr, mit diesem Album von MA. Ganz großes " Kino", ein Meisterwerk!!!!❤❤
AWESOME!!! ATILL MY FAVORITE BANKSY TRACK TOT HIS VERY DAY!
one of my favorite songs and videos of these guys. Such a smooth sound.
2:35 stuff of legends. Best change EVER
Brilliant story.
Might've been the coolest girl after all ;)
Sarah Riedel wow that’s exactly my path to this track as well....the lucky outlet I suppose......thank you for your sharing.....it did in fact work.....
Excellent piece of art perfectly performed and done here by Massive Attack........!!!!!!!!!
damn Robert stop being so handsome, I can't focus on music
Possibly my most fave MA choon. Since its release, every return is highly impressive/ mesmerising / mysterious etc
My dad loved this song before he died. Great tune.
Sorry for your loss :-(
The Kings of Trip Hop !
Behind Every Fantastic Band/ Group There Is A Very Talented Italian Origin These Dudes Are No Exception To That....
Masterpiece
Just one of those tunes that will always stay in my head, pure joy and why life is awesome
The video gives me Fight Club vibes for some reason and I enjoy that
one of the best trippy songs so melodic nice one
I've seen a lot of comments that condemned listening this song with any substance. I gotta tell ya. This gets another layer with a higher state of consciousness.
Mezzanine has marked my life since 1998, is my soul when i'm sad. Dark forever ..........
Wrong Fabio, let the Massive wrap you in a warmth of darkness...but embrace it.
@@slyarun thank you for advice, i will go so that it happen ! Very good
and rightfully this is the essence of trip hop... I need it every time I'm falling into myself, in my personal white rabbit hole. I love these guys and their charming music compositions.
Masterclass intemporelle💥💢💯
Mezzanine is my soul. I only discovered it two years ago.
their songs are mesmerizing
saw them live in Stockholm last weekend, and that was the opening track. can't take it out of my mind. days later and im still in awe.. thank you for massive attack for being a flame of hope in this dystopian period of our history
One thing I love about Massive Attack videos is that they are completely different (to me) than the lyrics. I visualize something else listening to the song, but I get to see another story when I watch a music video.
