      Nice video. Cool car.
      But is it normal or only the roof piece of mine is not totally black but with slightly grey in it (or matt black with slight grey stripes)?
      Thank you very much!

      @@Jangshock you mean the technic panel? It is also supposed to be black like the beams.

      @@RacingBrick the one big panel that makes the first half of the roof…I now saw in other videos that there it’s also a different black then the rest (with slight dark grey stripes on it). Hm…maybe a quality problem? Unforrunately you dont show the roof from near…Will ask customer service.

      a little bit like the problem they had with the roof on the 1989 batmobile…

    Was really put off by the lack of suspension, however the reasoning for why is pretty understandable. As a technic model it fundamentally looks a lot better, and functional than the F&F Charger. Really like how effective the light brick is with the engine in the rear, Definitely picking this one up after the Raptor next year.

  • @eugkra33

    1370 pieces for $100 seems like a good deal. Even if it's missing a lot of technique, and is more about aesthetics. This and the Ford f150 are pretty good value for money if you're looking for parts.

    Hi Balázs, great review! The car also grew on me, originally I was quite disappointed because of the lack of a functional steering wheel, but I understand that would need a lot of changes. At 7:12 you stated that the hinge piece was released in 2020, but thats not really the case. The one in this set (57697) was released in 2020, but previously there was 41532, a practically identical part, they just updates the mold recently. Thanks for the great review!

    If anyone runs into this, the way I fixed it is to turn the car upside down before sliding the shaft back in.

    I think it looks amazing from the front. But I don’t like the back wheels being bigger since I don’t think they are in the film, and the rear light mounts should be longer making it longer, pointier and sleeker.

      If you go on bricklink you can buy parts individually. All pins and axles used to be black or light gray for frictionless. For less than the price of a set you can order a bunch of each type and replace the visible pins on the outside of the set and make it all look smoother

    Loved the set very interesting techniques I removed the red light brick to put in a axel,gear and motor to start a RC conversion but I’m struggling to find a good point to point In a hidden steering motor with enough tweaking i might be able to get dual motor rear wheel drive but for now it’s good with one motor I was able to keep the v8 and spinning flames and I want to try to keep them in the end if I get the dual motor drive working

  • @SmashAtoms
    @SmashAtoms ปีที่แล้ว

    My set was missing a clear red rod for the taillights. I ended up using the red rod from the roof of the car to keep the taillights symmetrical. Other than that, a great build. Took about 9 hours total over 3 days. The steering left a little to be desired. Not a lot of range, and it’s a little loose. 7/10

    Hello! Thanks for your great review! Do you have any tips for getting the section activating the front light brick done correctly? I just can't seem to align it properly ... it seems to want to always stay on. I've been stuck here. I've been building Lego for years, but this is my first Technic set. I thought I was doing so well too, LOL! Also, for context, I'm partially blind so zoom in on the instructions digitally and assemble the actual structure by touch after pre-sorting each bag's pieces.

    I literally yesterday finished this set. Also, this is my first LEGO set, and to get the batmobil is pretty amazing. It was fun and interesting to build. Although, I made some changes to the front wheels. I didn't liked how they were inside the car's body. So I put extra spacer part on the axel, and now the front wheels comes a little bit outside of the body. It makes the car more agresive. Also, switched wheel covers front to back and vice versa. Overall, I agree great set!👍

      @protomanstyle ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dodidolan No, I didn't put longer axles. Just simply put the smal cylindrical spacer for the front wheels and little bit modified wheel covers. And that's it. This model for me is just a display peace.

    • @nkende
      @nkende 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The boxes in the USA (and possibly elsewere) are required to have the parts count included, here in Europe that's not the case. As a result they produce different boxes. Honestly I like the push tab ones better, As if you cut around all 3 sides, you can make a box that opens with a flap.

    What's the scale of this set? (need to buy an action figure to make it realy good)

    • @RacingBrick
      @RacingBrick  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We'd need to know the size of the real car to know the scale...

    What batteries are used in the light bricks? The release date could also have something to do with the releaase of the movie in various countries. I guess they don't want to release the set if the movie is not yet released...

      the movie will come out on March 4, 2022, so it's not even when LEGO releases the set in the world)
