This could be your best episode ever!💖. I loved the scenery, and wow, all the hoops and hurdles. You wrapped up Morocco in a beautiful and loving way. What a once (hopefully) in a life time experience. More than ever, your awesome and uplifting videos are better than anything found on traditional cable and network tv. With much love and thanks🙏!
Gotta give credit to the Moroccan's government for the health measures and assistance to cater for tourists and the British one too for the evacuation of even non British!

I love that you’ve given such a positive experience of living through this pandemic in Morocco and encouraged me and probably many others that Morocco is a great place to visit in the future. Great episode 🙌
from morocco .and on behalf of everyone here.. you are so very welcome.. we apreciate people around the world coming to see our country. it is your country too ,if you shoose to visit us . thanks
Very well made episode. Thanks for filming all this for us. I could really experience the emotions with you throughout this journey. The excitement, mixed with some fears, and the emotional roller coaster you go through with the problems that emerge. Thanks for making this episode. We wanted to see this.
There are so many van life channels on TH-cam right now, but Kombie Life is the true OG of the van life vlog community. You truly spoil your audience with the quality of each new upload. Great work!
A Couple tips for Solving Vapor Lock in Hot Climates. 1) insulate the Fuel tank from Road Heat By attaching insulation to the exterior of the Fuel Tank. 2" min barrier. Spray foam would work good. 2) Buy a External Transmission oil cooler and run the Fuel line through it. Mount in the coolest location for air flow over it. 3) use an electric fuel pump at a Higher pressure to a external fuel Regulator and set fuel regulator at desired pressure for carburetor. Keeping fuel line as short as possible between regulator and carb. 4) Monitor fuel temperature in & out of cooler with a mechanical temperature guage strapped to a piece of Copper spliced in fuel line.
Oops, I have just noticed your channel. I was also stocked in Morocco for 92 days from March 10th and we came back to India now on a repatriation flight arranged by the govt. We missed a chance of meeting and wish you can go back from their soon.
Wow. What a ride! One of the best episodes I've seen, the story telling is amazing. You had me on the edge of my seat and in tears at various points watching this one. Can't wait for the next episode. Stay safe Ben and Leah 💖
I think this episode deserves a standing ovation. I just did it. I didn't miss a second of this episode and for once I didn't mind the ads on YT. The quality of your stories is just outstanding!
Excellent Episode Leah and Ben! The storytelling had me at the edge of my seat the entire time. But more importantly, glad y'all made it back to EUROPE.
Bloody brilliant video guys! Really feel the pain, frustration, relief, hope for the future.. Wishing you calm, peace and safe onward travels. It's a crazy world! Living seeing it through your eyes xx
Yes! You guys made it on the ferry! I was so nervous this whole episode, I can't believe how many times things could have not worked out but did. Here's to a safe trip through Europe!
OMG that was amazingly stressful. Holding my breath, clenching my teeth through the whole episode. You both have incredible patience to deal with the hoops you had to go through. It was surreal to watch. Glad you all made it together. Wow.
From your vids and others I watch of people who have been stuck in Morroco during this pandemic I have to say how supurb the Morrocan Govenment have been in looking after their visitors. When I went I found everyone so friendly so it is strongly recommended as a future holiday destination
As a Moroccan I have enjoyed watching all your videos here in Morocco. I would like to meet you as I live in Agadir but the pandemic made it impossible. On behalf of all Moroccans I would like to say We love you too guys. Good luck and hopefully we will have you here again someday.
Definitely holding my breath for a lot of this one!! Can't believe how many checks you had to go through, even tho' they just checked you 50 feet away. So glad you made it on the ferry, and now you are in Spain. Thank goodness but one positive, the Moroccan gov't had done a good job trying to keep people safe.
Greetings from Morocco guys, i'm really glad you are safe back home also very happy to see how our Moroccan authorities treat you during this tough time. But from the bottom of my heart i'm really sorry for the Moroccans who have been stuck out of our country for more than 3 months now. Let's pray for them God bless them and keep them in good health until they can finaly back home safe to Morocco.
Well done you four!...This last posting was a real "heart-stopper". To see you finally safe on board the ferry to Spain was simply fantastic! Your sense of humor, unflappability and good nature served you well. Your thanks to Morocco and the various officials were, I'm sure appreciated. So, where from here?
Kombi is from America, Ben is from UK, Leha from Australia and Alaska from South America.. wow!!! One hell of a crew and journey in pandemic. Must see... 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Love you guys, such courage and strength together during incredibly tough times. All the best and look forward to the next episode, they keep getting better.
Thank God you finally got out! I was on pins and needles watching this vlog as your Kombi started leaking oil, then overheating due to the soaring temps in Morocco and at every toll booth. So relieved you are finally on the Ferry and on your way home. God is good.
you could call your channel #shouldaboughtasprinter! it's not bad luck when the inferior vehicle you stubbornly insisted on utilizing for your adventure isn't up to the task, it's bad judgement. sometimes it's painful to watch when your bad decisions cause you to suffer, so it's awesome to see that everything worked out for you guys and you made it on the boat and on with the adventure! buen viaje!
Wow!! Suspense till the end - great video. With all that went wrong, was expecting something to happen regarding Alaska. Glad you made it out ok. Safe travels.
Wow, This ep has everything! So emotional. Brilliant storytelling. Thanks guys for taking us along, so pleased you made it on board, but honestly, I hope you go straight to Jersey. The mainland UK is in all sorts of sh*t right now. Take care 🐨🌷
Great video as usual :) , Glad you both were able to get back to Europe, Can't wait to see more of your adventure of onward travel to your destination in Europe or Britain.
Hey guys, awesome video. As good a suspence as anything you could watch on TV. So happy that you are heading home. Brought tears to my eyes. Great filming and editing makes me always look forward to watching your videos. I hope the journey will continue in the near future. Am about to help my son convert a van for some adventures.
have you read of the couple that traveled the World in their VW Bus for 20 years, they retired in Canada, but you may find some of their modifications helpful, like plexiglass mounted on short stands to keep rocks from breaking windows if thrown at you, lots of security features to lock bus up tight double floor for insulation, plus hidden storage.
Of all the vans trying to get out I didn't think I'd notice anyone we knew but we camped next to Maren and Ralf in their big Mercedes truck in Tafarout (26:44). Glad to see they got out.
Gosh, you guys are good at rolling with the punches!

Fantastic episode, good to see you guys made it until the ferry!! not easy to be a nomad traveller at this time, but I am sure everything will get back to normal soon :) and we all can carry on travelling. Big hug from kombi travellers ( Brasil )
only use stainless steel hose clamps been there done that and tighten with a nut driver :) Also there is a simple device cheap called a cool can for drag cars.It is a copper coil inside a container in which you put ice and it mounts to your vehicle and your fuel passes through the coil.On extra hot days when in a rush throwing some ice in there 6 or 8 times from a cooler could make the difference.
Great video , must have been a worrying time ,the relief on leah's face every time her passport was handed back say's it all :-) . All part of the adventure . Take- Care .
Wow! Mental. YOU GOT ON THE BOAT! Well done. Maybe go back next year hey? One of the best videos yet. All types of drama in this one. So glad you made it though. Stir crazy... Soooo what's the plan guys? It's upside down world travel time with Ben, Leah and Alaska!!
I've been in a similar position of having to "escape" a country in a disaster, and watching you guys deal with mis-information, new information, bad information - massive lines, confusion - and rushing to get to a point with an incredibly stressful deadline brought it ALLL back!
Wow, wow, wow. What a roller coaster of a ride for getting to this ferry. From breaking down at the start, overheating in the middle of highway, tickets or no tickets, toll both fiasco and last the import permit 😱😱😱😱. My heart sank but kudos to Moroccan official to let you guys through. Was waiting for the happy dance at the end for being in the ferry, might see that on the Spanish side, ay???
You've done so well and Boomerang REALLY is a Champ ! F***ing hose clamps - who cares ?!? This really was one of the best episodes ever or as we say in Germany: The one, which is doing a travel has something to tell later, for sure. You 4 proofed that with this thrilling episode. Thanks for this one and safe travelling for the next several thousands of Kilometers up to your next destination / adventure / beach / border / beautiful sight / camp-fire / safe spot - whatever . . . I love it !
Phenomenal!!! With all that you went through to get on that boat, you have to know the Universe opened its arms. It's yet more proof that with enduring intent and hard work, that the answer is always yes. I don't travel as you do, but I can look around my life now, and see God's work and my work in all of it.
hey kombi life! love what you're doin and i hope you do ok in all this. the world is not in a great state, but that never stopped some of the world's greatest travelers such as John Muir or Magellan. stay safe guys!
Excelent! Great adventure!. I have bought my ticket to Morocco months ago. I m looking forward to the end of this pandemic time. Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱😊
Great vlog . It's so interesting to watch another prospective especially the implications of travel in foreign countries in these times. Great edit interesting photography.
I am glad you guys made it out. Thanks for sharing all your journeys. Hopefully we all can enjoy more freedom in the future. It's beautiful planet, it would be shame to let it go to waste.
Excellent episode. You really captured the tension in those 30 minutes.Bloody Type 2's ehh. Even one which is basically brand new with a state of the art engine, still breaks down!
212 degrees F is considered perfect oil temp... in an aircooled its best to be anywhere from 160 to 212 but that of course depends on where you measure oil temp... after the oil cooler should be lower that 200... the fuel problem is likely heat related
Spent lockdown in Serbia! Had curfews and closed borders. Everything back to normal there and well worth a visit 😊 Back in London now and things are wierd and crazy here!
Dealing with my own "Pandemic" issues, I waited till a quiet morning to relax with my coffee and watch this video. WRONG.. no relaxing with this one..! On the edge of my seat the whole time... WOW .. what an adventure. So glad you made it to the Ferry. OMG...😀
This could be your best episode ever!💖. I loved the scenery, and wow, all the hoops and hurdles. You wrapped up Morocco in a beautiful and loving way. Oh my goodness! Perfection! Thank you and stay safe ❤️
Gotta give credit to the Moroccan's government for the health measures and assistance to cater for tourists and the British one too for the evacuation of even non British!
morocco just sent medical aids to 15 African countries today
this just shows how much the country is doing way better than slots of country worldwide
Morocco is an amazing country that shows a can do spirit.

I was wondering, how is Boomerang registered in the US when he has a UK licence plate?
Did your other friends manage to get on the ferry ? ....
You guys are the best. I’m so happy that you finally can get back home.
When you lost fuel pressure on the highway it reminded me of when you had that piece of tape in tank and it kept messing with you
I love that you’ve given such a positive experience of living through this pandemic in Morocco and encouraged me and probably many others that Morocco is a great place to visit in the future. Great episode 🙌
from morocco .and on behalf of everyone here.. you are so very welcome..
