Everytime this music play in the game at night.. I climb up to the highest point of my ship.. And just.. Gaze at the constellations of the spirits that I have sent through the Everdoor.. I miss them.. especially Summer.. and Alice :(
really admire the use of modes in the overworld themes, like the mixolydian 7th in At Sea, the dorian 6th in First Snow, the lydian 4th in Shallow Waters. but this song staying in plain C major is what makes it sound that much more sweet and simple 😌
throwback to when my Xbox was in its own room, and i could just sit and listen to my (now ex) gf ramble while i stared at Gwen's constellation in the sky. this song never left my head. i'm glad to see the game back on game pass, especially now since i've grown. it helped me heal.

I always wonder the process artists go through as they are making these songs. Like what are they thinking as they put some cords together (a memory of some person, place, or time)?
