2023 UPDATE: This mod doesn't work with DX12 enabled. You can disable it from the game's Graphics settings menu. The installation process is the same exact way with Resident Evil 2 Remake. Just download the RE2 dll file instead. "It's Not Working!" Read below... Unfortunately, this mod stopped working after the recent updates that the game received. In order for it to work, you will need to roll back and run the [dx11_non-rt] version of the game. This works for both RE2 & RE3 Remakes. To roll it back, simply Right-click on the game from your Steam games library, select Properties, betas, and choose dx11_non-rt from the drop down menu! :) *It was also brought to my attention that you only need the DLL file, not the Framework files. (If it doesn't work with only the DLL, then try adding the Framework files after all).
hello i need some advice, i recently installed a lights on shader to make evrything brighter in my copy of re3r (im using dx11 non rt). Everything was going okay and i was able to use the free cam mod, but then after a while it stopped working. I tried redownloading the dinput8.dll but the framework wont appear anymore so i cant access it. help ? #
Are you referring to the DLL file from your google drive? I've tried that file with dx11 and I'm not getting the RE framework window :/ I've also tried downloading the zip from the github URL and it doesn't just download the DLL anymore it seems.
@deam0155 The game has to be rolled back to an older version. It could also be a Windows 11 issue? Other than that, I'm not really sure. I should also mention, I'm not the original creator of this mod. I believe he has an updated version, though, which can be purchased via his Patreon.
In order to still use this mod right now I recommend watching Games Lover TH-cam video on how to get the game for free using a torrent. Because of the updates that the game has it also affects the files too so downloading a lower update exe file wont work. Also once you done that just put the DLL file only in the RE3 folder and don't put the Frameworks files in the folder. whenever i use this to get some cool action photos, the camera constantly shakes and doesnt stay still. e.g when i die, the camera moves with Jill and Carlos movement. im using the dx11 version of RE3 on steam. Help?
Does anyone know if there's a mod that allows to freeze a cutscene and then explore it using free cam? This one doesn't really work plus the cutscenes cannot be paused.
One used to be able to do that with this camera, but it stopped working due to game updates. I was a little disappointed myself. :( p.s. Sorry for the late reply!

@@sinoda1194 You have to uninstall the update to get that option back. In Steam, open up the game Properties tab, then Betas, then select the dx11_non-rt file. Just a heads up, I haven't been able to get the camera to work even after rolling it back. It sucks man!

Not after the update. But on the Steam version theres an option that lets you roll the game back to the previous version. I haven't tested it yet, but I definitely plan on rolling it back. The update made my game stutter like crazy no matter which settings I use. 🤨

You just need the dll file. You don't need to extract (or even download) the framework files unless you plan to compile code.
