I love cyberpunk, I just hope that the next installment won't have RPG mechanics, because it would be infinitely more immersive. The world already features an infinite power disparity between the rich and the poor. Otherwise, keep the insane writing and atmosphere.

I take it no one went the reed ending you do get cured with the presidents help but you literally become 100% human no enhancers kiroshi nothing you even walk past so low lvl crook on the street and he drops you like nothin before misty steps in you get your life back......but at the cost of everything............was it worth it?

Ain't no happy endings in Night City.

I really sympathized with Songbird but things were going awry since the Firestarter stadium breakout. She selfishly kills lots of people, is ready to betray you to Hansen if you try to ICE her and in both outcomes she becomes a walking, ticking net-nuke that can barely control herself. She displayed this during the Killing Moon finalle where she uses you as a proxy for her true powers that are definitely at apocalypse-level. This so-called black clinic on the Moon is most probably Mr. Blue Eyes' black site and who knows what this shady fucker would do to her. And that's in case he actually manages to contain her. And then, her admitting the cure is only single use and you're the one with the short stick was just a cherry on top of her shit cake of obvious manipulation, playing multiple sides and doublecrossing. So I gave her to Reed in the end. Of course, it was a bitter decision for me and it was more about picking what I saw as a lesser evil. Myers is a power hungry bitch, we all know that, but NUSA has a bigger chance in reducing her powers in to more manageable levels (Cynosure, being a Militech project, Militech basically being the NUSA) and thus restoring the fragile status quo. What a ride this DLC was. What a fucking ride.

I can't get over how casually this game drops real existential questions on you and then just leaves you to grapple with what it means. The voice acting and writing is also incredible, Very few games(or pieces of media rather) are able to get me intellectually invested in an issue like cyberpunk did. Its also somewhat interesting how a lot of important characters are left with unmarked graves but rather- that is also what makes them legends.

I was not prepared for how good the original tracks are for this DLC

Even though so mi had betrayed us that it was better to push forward, because to turn her in at the last step would've made everything meaningless. So much destruction for nothing. And two because at least so mi can have a life. And lastly because the nusa tried to make me their attack dog at the expense of everyone in tycho terminal, and lastly because I wanted to set the world aflame with the 5th corporate war.

The digital world of Cyberpunk 2077, with its neon-lit streets and gritty underbelly, had always been a place of stark realities. But never had I felt the weight of those realities so acutely as I did in the aftermath of Songbird's betrayal. I had poured my heart and soul into the mission, believing that Songbird would be the key to our salvation. Her lies, her deception, felt like a gut punch. The hope I had clung to shattered into a thousand pieces. Johnny's words, "Can always call Reed," echoed in my mind, a stark reminder of the choices I had made. I refused Reed's offer, a decision born from a stubborn pride and a desperate desire to prove myself. But as I sat alone in the aftermath, the emptiness was overwhelming. The realization that Songbird, the one I had trusted, had betrayed me, left me feeling raw and exposed. It was a harsh lesson, one that mirrored the harsh realities of the world I inhabited. The idea of a "happier ending" seemed like a distant dream, a fantasy that couldn't exist in a place as gritty and unforgiving as Night City.

The part where V says "No johnny you fucked that up too" played right at 2:14 for me, and it was one of the best cutscene moments ive ever had in a game.

Man why has this got so little views. It's a fantastic piece of music.

2:24: “Reed’s not the only one I betrayed…” This line, this fucking line… I got this ending after getting The Devil ending for the base game, the ending where you betray pretty much everyone, but especially yourself. Then in Phantom Liberty, I betrayed Reed out of sympathy for her and her situation, and tore through an entire army to save her, only for her to reveal her betrayal. And at that moment it clicked. The V I was playing as, and So-Mi were one in the same. V betrayed so many people, including his closest allies, the one who saved his life, in a desperate bid for self preservation. This is exactly what So-Mi had been doing all along as well. Reed was far from the only one both of them betrayed, but I refused to let V betray her, betray another friend, another ally, one that could prevent him from making the same mistakes he made in a previous ending. So I saved her.

This is so emotionally powerful. I feel melancholic but elevated at the same time. Like floating into the stars above a calm, nighttime ocean. Alone. Cold. And no way of coming back. I know this music is connected to Judy, but I think it's tied to V even more.
