The way that red eye shad falls is really what sets it apart for me. I've not fished as many styles as you have but I've not found another that falls like a red eye shad.
#100percentwatchsquad I love throwing a lipless crank in the winter! I'm a huge fan of Rat-L-Traps and the good ol' Super Spot and use both regularly. I mod mine by stuffing them with super glue and baking soda to reduce the amount of rattle they give off for a more subtle presentation.
Yes sir they are killer when they are silent. Hey you should replace them with a blade bait when you need a more subtle bait there are some that have a plastic body money
I need to learn a lipless and a jig so bad but all the ponds I fish have bad grass or a lot of timber, I fish ponds to get confidence and then go fish lakes with that new confidence
Hey Hank, thanks for covering lipless cranks. I’ve been using them since I was a kid. There are so many ways to fish them & a lot of styles out there. Absolutely spot on breakdown. #100percentwatchsquad👊
Just getting time to throw the lipless baits... Caught some big bags on it and always keep a box of them in my boat this time of year... Great video and keep em coming....
Hey Bass Geek, thanks for the insightful breakdown on lipless crankbaits! Your thorough analysis of different body styles and their applications, as well as the detailed discussion on color choices, provides valuable guidance for anglers looking to maximize their catch ratios in cold water conditions. Understanding the nuances of each bait's design and knowing when, where, and why to use them adds a strategic edge to bass fishing. I appreciate your emphasis on small movements during the winter and your preference for stiffer rods with lighter lines, tailored to specific cover and structure scenarios. Your recommendations on rod, reel, and line setups for different fishing conditions offer a practical guide for anglers looking to optimize their gear for lipless crankbait techniques. More great information Hank! I love throwing a lipless in the colder weather. Thanks for some really good information and tips on using it. Appreciate you!
🎣 #100percentwatchsquad I really appreciate your bait breakdowns. You do an excellent job from top to bottom explaining the bait, how to throw it when to throw it, and on what equipment you should be throwing it with.
They can for sure sound is a big deal but body style will dictate action and vibration. So the where and how to throw it sound it then key and water clarity will mean a lot there
I know I still want you are talking about I see what you are saying to check on how build on top of those once you were to mention a few minutes ago on this video I know that both types of mine there are different

Hey thank ya for watching. I’m ready to get out and toss one around they are eating it right now
I just bought the new hammer traps (Bill Lewis) 5/8oz and 3/8oz already caught fish on them. They have great action.
Nice can’t wait to try them
🎣 #100percentwatchsquad I really appreciate your bait breakdowns. You do an excellent job from top to bottom explaining the bait, how to throw it when to throw it, and on what equipment you should be throwing it with.
Thank you sir we have been trying more and more
Great video. I think internally can be mentioned as a difference as well. For example: hard knocker v. one knocker v. silent. Always enjoy your vids.

@@BassGeek Appreciate your clarifying response. 👍
Love a Lipless in the colder weather, especially the booyah one knocker! And the damiki vault blade! Another Great video 🎣 #100percentwatchsquad
Man you know I love my vaults!
Great info Hank, I have been killing them on the Booyah hard knocker and the 6th sense Quake 70. #100%watchsquad
I need to test the Quakes put
Out that’s it
Great teaching, thank you
Thank you
Line was a little frayed on that second setup. Good info bro
Yeah time to change it
Hey Hank. Do you change out your hooks and on the bluegill colored bait you need to change that line. A lot of knicks in the line. 😜
Hahahaha nope I just roll with bad line and hooks hahahahaha sometimes on the hooks.
Hey I'm game to try anything. I went fishing on an air mattress
Hahahaha I’ve done that
Could you help me understand the difference/similarities of a lipless and a blade bait.
Spring it’s comming
Like the ole rat-l-traps! #100PWS
They are a good one for sure
Great video! I'm looking forward to trying that. #100percentwatchsquad
Heck yeah thank you! Good lick
Luck not lick lol
Big fingers strike again! Lol
nice bro good stuff
Thank ya
Do you use them all in not testing clean water or dirty water
No. Like I said at the beginning in clear water without something to break it up I wouldn’t use them at all
I know I still want you are talking about I see what you are saying to check on how build on top of those once you were to mention a few minutes ago on this video I know that both types of mine there are different
There ya go. The. Just build on that
#100percentwatchsquad.
Heck yeah thank you!
