Wow, I was just going to comment almost the same thing!! Yes Tara thank you so much for doing this video, and I also think Huda is trash for doing this crap!! Not only did she lie, but put in a couple different shades so that those who already bought it would buy it a second time!!! Also, I was under the impression she formulated them so you could use a brush OR your finger and it apparently isn't true either, I refuse to buy an eyeshadow palette where I have to use my finger thus poking my eyeball out because I also have nails. Tara, you are totally awesome girl!!!

Reformulations of the same shades with a couple new ones thrown in for people who already own it to repurchase, and also saying once it sold out it was gone forever.
The shimmer shades in the new palette don't look like they're going to last long. Especially since you have to use your finger. l'm not impressed with what I've seen in either palette. I didn't buy the first one and I won't be buying the "re-do" palette. Thanks for the video, Tara.

I heard people saying their palettes came with air pockets in the shadows. Did you have any in your palette? It looks like it has dents in the shimmers, which would be strange considering how recently you got the palette.
Angelic in the old palette is my most used eyeshadow, and I have so many palettes. I use it on its own many days and I always get compliments on it. I noticed on the old palette, it’s best if I apply even the mattes with my finger and blend with a brush. TYSM for swatching each color side by side. I’m trying to decide if I want the new one, too.
I love the Huda Original but Yes...You nailed it...so cheap in packaging. It was horrible. I can't see why I would buy the remastered though. I love her mini palettes too.
Tara, I really enjoyed this and think I will get the Huda Beauty remastered palette. Something I wanted to suggest is with those metallic shadows that don’t pick up nice on a brush and you find yourself using your finger to apply... The Body Shop (of all places) makes a large flat sponge disk eye brush that works perfectly for these applications. They used to make a 2nd one that is like a small pointed tiny sponge and I own several of both of these brushes as I had a feeling they may not be around forever as I don’t think most people truly understand how to use these. The small one they no longer make but the large disk they do and I think you will be blown away if you try this with those metallic shadows! 💞

Hi Tara I've watched another video and apparently those top shades in the new palette go on really well with those sponge tip applicators so maybe give that a try. I don't know what 's going on but your face makeup has literally been looking airbrushed these passed few videos, you have been looking ethereal! xxx

I cannot believe you haven't picked up the Kevyn Aucoin Electropop eyeshadow palette. I literally NEVER get backups because I have too much and too much is coming out besides being quite particular even within the luxury realm, but this one blew me socks off ;) I am beginning to think I should grab a couple more ♡

Beautiful eye look. This palette is a pass for me. Although the colors are very pretty, they are dupable. Add the high price for less product, lots of fallout, and difficulty with brush pickup of those metallics. I’ll wait to see what Huda has in store for future releases. She needs to work on her eyeshadow formulas.

Ugh. The original Rose Gold, it's a favorite of mine. But I remember going on and on about that price tag and how much I wanted to return it because at that point I don't even know who Huda was, Yet she had this ridiculously expensive palette. Now that I know who she is I still don't think the $65 price tag is worth it, but I love that palette so much. Still considering this new version though it seems kind of a waste since so many of the shades are very similar if not exact.

I don't feel like the improvements are significant enough to have both, but I do really love that pink diamond shade and if you don't have the old one the new one might be of some interest if you don't mind using your fingers and getting some fallout :) The looks do turn out very pretty but its not an effortless palette for me xx
Hi Tara! What do you think about the depressions in all of the shimmers? I noticed yours does the same thing. It looks like the shadows are not filled enough and they are collapsing.
There was a squeaky noise in this video (glad I didn't have my earphones on) otherwise I loved how you showed the comparison of two eyeshadow palette's. I don't own the old and I'm not sure about the new because it's just so pricey. I do have the Huda "Mauve Obbsesion" mini Palette and matte lipgloss in "Bombshell". Which I love both :)
The last 2 videos I haven't receive notication that you have videos up, I learned you have videos up through Instagram. This has never happen, I used to get notification all the time.
Tara, I don't know why I haven't really noticed before, but the way you apply your shadow is so different, being most people start off with a crease shade, blend and lastly the lid. Why do you do it differently? Also I was hoping you could talk about your Japanese brushes some, the Hokuhodo and Chikahodo. They perform so well and so precisely, which I think may be why you apply the shadows the way you do? I find those brushes so interesting and dont kniw much about them.

I’ve never tried her foundation but IMO (only IMO) all her items I’ve tried are way overpriced. I stopped purchasing her items because i was never really wowed.
The remastered palette looks like it had huge indentations just from the swatches... and less product than the first for $60? No wonder it has terrible reviews on sephorw
I can’t stand using my fingers. Esp having nails I can’t get in my inner corner. I’m sorry for $65 they should’ve made a better product. The whole purpose of the reboot was so you could use a brush. I returned desert desk for the same reason. Not a fan at all which really stinks because both of the palettes, color wise, would be holy grail for me. I can’t be bothered putting in that much work when there are so many other amazing eyeshadows out there.

Yeah, I kept the shadow protector plastic in my Desert Dusk palette cuz it was pretty and I didn't want to throw it away!😂😂

did you notice that all the shimmer shadows come wiht a indentation in each shadow? (concave) I was not happy about that.

celicalover1 She has said before that she has very hooded eyes and her crease is way lower on her eye. So she is trying to create a crease higher.
Stephanie Nicole has a video on brushes and she talks about those higher end brushes
I apply my eyedhadow the same way. I guess many hooded eyes girls do.

The only color in the new palette that I’d be all over was pink diamond. Definitely not worth it for one shade though
