Amazing thank you! I purchased 10x tickets on the app, but didn't know how to actually use it to validate. Yours is the only video that shows that. So thank you :)
Thx sr, for this video, I travel to paris in August with my girlfriend, and now we know how to use the app for the pass navigo and not buy a card for lost money 🙏🏽👍
So, it worked but I was waiting for a sound and didn't bush the barre. Fortunately, I could walk through at the gate for wheelchairs users. Also, you need a second app which stores the tickets, or so. Never delete that app after you purchased a ticket! Good luck! 😅
His is my concern and not covered in the video. How do you know if its been accepted? How long should you hold your phone on the machine? And do you need to tap to get out.
Thank you so much for this! Really helpfull! I was thinking the tickets should open in a page with a qr code or something, since the app doesn t say anything! Thanks again!
Very informative and great videoclip. If I choose 2 quantities of T+ tickets that means 2 persons can use the ticket from that one app? If I activate it does it automatically activate both the two tickets?
1 phone can contain up to 2 batches, but can be used at the same time by only 1 person. A ticket can be used everywhere in metro and in busses, but not outside of Paris for RER.
Thx for the video! But can you explain how i will purchase 3 weekly tickets for 5 zones? At the app doesn't have the choice of number . Thx in advance.
The Navigo Découverte is the physical card, the Navigo semaine (or weekly) is the virtual pass that you charge on the Navigo Découverte. If you choose zones 1 to 5 - 30 € for the week - you can go to Roissy CDG.
Hi there a short question, can I use my T+ tickets on a local bus in Paris and use it to transfer to Metro train? I've read bus to bus or bus to tram only. Thank you again.
Great video! I'll probably buy a Navigo Easy but it's awesome to have this alternative. I have one question: is it possible to use the app offline when you go to the metro? I'm not talking about buying the tickets, I'm talking about already having the ticket and passing the phone offline in the metro to enter Thank you!
Up to my knowledge, and per the FAQ in French, all you need to do is: "To validate your title, make sure you have: * NFC enabled; * a valid ticket (date and zone) for the journey you wish to make; * the screen on and possibly unlocked (no need for the application to be open). Then present the back of your phone to the validator's contactless reading target." So, it should work offline, but I'm not 100% sure, sorry!

Hi again. This question might be out of the topic since our phone is not compatible. Can I buy a single paper ticket €2.10 in advance and use it another day since our hotel is far from metro stations with machines? I decided to not buy a Navigo pass. Thank you.
Thanks for this video! Does this mean that it is not necessary for tourists to buy the physical Navigo Découverte Travel Card if they want to use the Navigo weekly pass for travelling on the Paris metro?
If i bought the weekly pass on my mobile phone, Do we have to activate our internet connection once we do the tap? And is the apps only available for the smartphone with NFC?
Only NFC phones with Android 8 or higher. You don't need the app to be open or the phone to be linked to Internet to validate. Only need the phone screen to be lit.
thanks.. the best video so far .. Quick one.. if I am traveling with 2 more people, lets say I purshase 3 single t+ tickets, can I tap the phone 3 times and will deduce each ticket?
You have a specific card called Navigo Liberté+ that can be interesting if you only travel inside Paris (plus Orlybus and Roissybus). It needs you to subscribe for Navigo Liberté + with your bank account details, and you receive the invoice at the end of the month. It works like this: * Pay for your journeys as you go with no commitment or minimum period, * Benefit from a reduced fare of €1.69 instead of €2.10 for a standard ticket t+. * Over the period of one day, you can only be charged up to €8.45 (the price of a Navigo Day 2-zone ticket). Once you have reached that limit, further journeys are free. The problem, for me, lies in the fact that you need to communicate your bank account details. You can't top the card up in machines as you can in London with an Oyster Card, for example. So it's more for locals than for tourists.

Absolutely!

Yes for the bus, and yes for the RER, but only inside Paris.
