    Used this Video as a template for my own banquette seating, altered to allow for sloped back support. excellent presentation, using MM instead of imperial, as every American vid does (What are they thinking?) For anyone trying this , just remember that the above, is working from a true floor and wall , maybe a small added presentation to show how to allow for floor and wall scribing if needed. Otherwise you are my new go to bloke for inspiration.

    Hi, I’m happy to have come across your video which was great, absolutely fantastic and easy to follow. You have great skills! What did you do to keep the seat cushion from sliding? Did I miss something or did you just staple the cushion and slid it on the frame? How do you keep it from sliding when people sit on it?

    • @mitre10nz
      @mitre10nz  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Because we want the cushion to be able to be lifted off to access the storage underneath it is not attached, this also allows for easier cushion cleaning. But because of the wood on the underside, it doesn't really slip. But if you didn't want the storage access you could look at a more permanent solution.

    • @rasheedahmuhammad284
      @rasheedahmuhammad284 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for your reply. You also gave me the Velcro idea like you did on the top cushion since I will not be having the storage. Thanks again.

    I did it and more (I got the excuse to buy a track saw) and I used only a Hand as well. It cost me approx 350 euro all in. I used 5 sheets of Ply at 36 euro each (don't know if that cheap or expensive in other countries, but I consider it a bit pricey and 157 for the Saw) I have off cuts that i can use for other projects. Putting this up there so others interested can have a price guide.
