AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!! I just realized why I am grasping this - visually better - The camera is behind you so I don't have to reverse it in my head !!!! oooo this will really help me ( dyslexic here ) learn faster !!!! yahooooo!!!!
Absolutely incredible, the way you explain things is incredible. As soon as I have everything in the clear and I'm mentally back to where I can have my heart and soul in skating again, I will contact you for another date to come and see you. I can't wait to finally meet you and the crew and learn from you all. Thanks for taking the time to do these videos. Ute
thank YOU !!!!!!! thank YOU !!!!!!!!! I've learned "the Swipe" "First Form" & "First Form Soulful Fitness ........ so I am ready and very excited to start learning this set of skills!!!! as a solo skater where I live.... your videos provide challenges, inspiration AND have guided & improved my skating..... INCREDIBLY. I appreciate these instructional videos......a Beacon of Light around the world........and a ray of light that reaches me where there are no other skaters and sadly not much community support
and on the third month I can say I Got This !!!! still want to tidy up the flair a tad.... such a wonderful move -- thank you for providing my learning opportunity next on the list Swing Up Curl Drift & Reversal...........
Thank you for always breaking the steps down so well and teaching how to do them safely. I’m still relearning how to skate, and trying to overcome the fear that’s slowing down my progress with dance moves. About 6 years ago, my son who’s currently 18 years old got me hooked on The Beatles. Since he’s away at university now, I play & sing their music to my dogs because I’m just crazy like that. LOL. I’m trying to get a little routine learned to go with “Silly Love Songs” by Paul McCartney and Wings so that I can surprise my son when he comes home. This move looks like it will fit the music quite nicely! I can’t wait to start learning it. Thank you again for your awesome tutorials! ✌🏼💜🛼
Really enjoy your content. I finally able to do crazy legs after watching your in depth videos. Thank you for putting these videos out in the world for us to see!
Something to chew on ??? LOL !!!! BFunk you left a bison bone to gnaw on LOL!!! That said... at the end of the fourth month of learning and practicing,,,,,,ShaZam I got VersionB ( I was soooooooooooooo HAPPY & so Thankful for the opportunity to be able to learn..... I wanted to fly to Netherlands and HUG you ) and oooooo Lordy, learning this Riff, getting that version B move has been worth every hour of drilling....I don't own B yet, but I FEEL all the potential that move provides --it's a real door opener, mind expander kinda move. Actually, I found this entire Riff somewhat like a Primer Book....getting these foundation moves, experiencing the weight shifts, keeping my wheels on the floor, really tuning in to the core muscles. I'm glad, I took your cue and seriously worked ( and must continue) each of the segments till I understood and felt the move, rather then skimming through this lesson and learning stuff wrong or sloppy.....a few times I got frustrated with myself and wondered how long it takes the average skater to get this......but....I would check myself up...it's not how long it takes..... what's my rush??? It's that I complete and accomplish my goal.
(these posts are notes to myself) ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the B VERSION.........back AGAIN, to review the moves before I practice....I have found putting the video on slo-mo and watching repeatedly, then practicing in socks helps plant the move in my brain... also find it's good to come back and review because invariably I don't catch a detail... which leads to learning it wrong which leads to having to have to re-learn the riff. Without an instructor to call out an incorrect move from the beginning can be a hindrance....but after a year...I've learned go back and check, go back and check. The point I want to make is even if there's no one who roller skates around you.....there are opportunities to learn and challenge yourSELF.... I've been working on this Riff for 3 months.... for me, sometimes I get frustrated w/myself and wonder why it's taking me so LONG to get it correct..... sometimes I think to leave it and move on...but my inner voice shouts.....it's not about HOW FAST you learn this, it is about the journey and to give myself the space to enjoy the learning.......
well, I'm still here.... that flair needed work - got to "land four on the floor" --solid, when I first watch this riff and watched the B version... I thought hummmm I'm gonna skip this - looks too difficult....LoL... yet, after I returned to watch the flair a few zillion times.... the B version caught me..... so that's what I challenging myself with.... I want both versions.
ayeeeeeeee - back to check -- this B version....... checking back,,,,, dang -I managed to learn this wrong...... ugh... I gotta pivet on the 2nd foot... somehow I was using only one foot to pivot while lifting the other behind,,,, which is an ok move - but it's not correct....... back at it !!!

Amazing. What skates do you ride ??
Mmm, "sticky moves." I think most of my tech consists of these kinds of moves.
Thank you! But why did you disable notification bell on your channel?
Hi, I am not aware it is disabled. Going to checkbit, thanks!
