German town Westmoreland. Yo these people killed of coffee plantation. I never seen nobody drink coffee like them. My goodness,but they are hard working.

Seaford Town is German town, all those people are descendants of German immigrants very interesting story behind that town, Do you have Jamaican roots? if you do I am gonna say Indian.

They were invited by the British after Slavery but could not compete in the sun. They are not immigrants per say but Indentured Workers who were unable to work the plantations because of the heat.

White Jamaica, no such thing. Please stop imposing your American/ Euro dichotomy on Jamaica. We;ve never lived segregated. In spite of Jamaica having the largest Chinese population in the Caribbean, there is no Chinatown because we live, naturally integrated lives. We have class segregation and even that isn;t quite the same as it is in North America or Europe. Leave your biases in Canada.
They need to make a Chinatown. Every country with a large Chinese population has one.
@@AnastasiaLUVSU We have tons of Jamaican Chinese and Chinese restaurants and shops (Jamaican Chinese/Hakka have been here since 1840 and many are racially mixed and distinctly different than Chinese from China) We Jamaicans like living amongst each other regardless of race. We're Jamaicans before race, religion and origins.
Stop dreaming. Shadism is alive and well. How does uptown look versus down town. Jamaica is racist, classis and colorist.

Very interesting i am Jamaican and am sharing some highlights or history what i was taught in high school the Germans were some of the different groups of people who came to Jamaica 🇯🇲 after slavery was abolished to work the lands because many of the slaves did not want to work for any one after coming from such a wicked system so the Germans along with the Chinese and Indians they came to Jamaica under a system known as the Indentured Servants where they were given land and was paid by the then Colonial Government and some of the free slaves worked amoung them so those groups were there to orentate in the new system they were told they could return to their country after a few years some returned and some remain or they go and visit until this day so in the parish of Westmoreland the Germans settled there and they worked and developed that part of Westmoreland they have children and some inter mixed with the free slaves they braught their culture with them so the land was pass down through generations so German Town was established and seaforth Town in the parish of Westmoreland
