    I keep my 2019 yz450f running cool by riding it really really fast, it’s proven the more air flow through the radiator the cooler your bike will be.

    Thank you. That was very useful for me to know.
    I have a ktm duke 390. Something u Americans call a beginner bike or girls bike 😂 but I love it and it's my dream machine 😅
    A lot of talk for the way I take care of it though. Too afraid to give it to the ktm service centers here in India cuz every time they damage something else b4 I get it back.
    These past few months have been a surprise for my city regarding heat. Insanely hot! Mine is a 2016 machine and has never overheated.
    I wonder if engine oil burns away. I'm sure it does. I'll top it up just a bit today b4 riding to work.
    I love your knowledge of your machine.
    Thank you.

    I have a 2021 690 enduro and this thing just runs f-in HOT. Commonly runs 108c/230f. I have done everything I can think of to get it to run cooler with no luck. Seems really stupid to run the exhaust right under the radiator. I have thought about wrapping that section of pipe but worry about causing other issues.

    • @hudzcr250
      @hudzcr250 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hello I have a technical question if you or anyone can answer please that really knows. I Have a WR450 with
    a 1.1 bar cap 16psi.. It never overheats and always stays under 180..if I put a 1.8 bar 26psi cap will thar cause undo steess to hoses or gaskets??
    I know water boils at 225 with a 1.1 so if it stays nowhere near there any cap over 1.1 should be fine is that right?

    You guys ever mod a kids bike? I've got a 5 year old who's crf50 is holding him back. The ktm 50 is a nightmare for reliability from what I've seen. He doesn't really need any more motor. Just more chassis. Like pit bike parts, but set up for a kid?

    No excuse for a perfectly good running 4 stroke to overheat at idle. I just got one and damn near blew a head gasket not knowing these things are a piece of junk as far as design. Maybe I want to sit a listen to my bike but can’t do it unless it’s got a high powered fan on it. I even heard these crap bikes overheat if you don’t ride fast enough. That is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. There are many days most people just want to ride slow all day just to relax
