It just seemed like unnecessary repetition to drive a point home on how the legion would be in the future. Leman Russ alone would be an existential crisis for the Grey Knights and Inquisition after the repeat wars between them and the Space Wolves, or The Lion probably throwing the whole “Fallen” debacle wide open in the galactic public.
That's why Guilliman was the perfect Primarch to come back first. Now that he has the Imperium under his control, the reception of the others will be much better
In hindsight, Guilliman was the only Primarch who even could feasibly return, and even when he did his first look at the sheer memery of autism that was the Imperium had him briefly consider running away to be a farmer because even he doubted that fixing such an unfathomably absurd mess was even possible. But, to his credit, he didn't run away and instead took a deep breath and took a shot at fixing things.
@@joshuakim5240 Yeah but it's kinda dumb to put all that blame on the regular men and women of the Imperium tbh. The Space Wolves' reaction wasn't far from the Dark Angel's reaction, a lot of acting stupid. During the story the Wolves even discussed how they were on their last leg and their numbers were way down. The heads of the chapter considered it to be "The Wolf Time" because of how diminished they were. Grimnar was pretty much looking to the horizon for Russ to show up and tell them all they were gonna die but instead the Primaris show up. And instead of being happy or reasonably cautious about the Primaris Gift they wolves went full brain worms. Ulrik (Pretty much head of the Chaplains) and Grimnar (Chapter Master) flip flopped on the topic depending on which way the other felt about it. If I remember right, Ulrik even withheld that the Gift would include the ability to make their own Primaris just to keep the idiocy going. Then when Grimnar found out about that sticking point he proceeded to argue as if the ability to produce more wasn't being offered along side the initial influx of new blood. They literally held the ship with their Primaris envoy at gunpoint if it dared get close to Fenris. Meanwhile, Logan, supposedly the wise leader, punished the Company Commander who embraced the Primaris off world before he had arrived in Fenris space. When Guilliman arrived to try to smooth things over we got a very embarrassing diplay from the Chapter heads as they tried to "Big D" flex on a Primarch and it's entourage. So much for the "Cunning Noble Savage"
So something not mentioned but the Space wolves had a big mixed reaction yo the G man coming back, in the book Wolftime, we got to follow a new primaris space wolf as he integrates with his chapter, as well as a good bit of the story from Logan Grimnar's pov. Logan was not on board with primaris because he felt like the legion breaker was back to take over, and that the space wolves might loose their independence accepting the gift of primaris marines, putting them under Guilliman's command through a debt, several wolf.lords agreed with him, including Bjorn the Fell Handed, but some wolf lords also saw the need for the reinforcements. We also got to see how some of the first born wolves didnt see the new primaris wolves as proper space wolves since they werent raised on fenris, sons of russ yes, but not space wolves like them. Its honestly a cool take i wish had been included
One thing I appreciate about Guilliman's ressurection is the many reactions. Obviously not everybody was going to be fawning over the Primarch upon his return beacuse the circumstances and who was involved in his ressurection, namely Cawl and Yvraine. It adds extra layers to what easily could've just been a gary stu situation. I also appreciate how the reactions of various Chapters of Astartes to the Primaris Marines have been expanded on as of late too.
You can't really fault the Astartes for having contingency plans in case the Rowboat man decides to sink himself and take everyone with him. They know how bad it can be if a Primarch turns traitor.

Interesting idea, my rough take is that Cawl would deem them inefficient since they die fairly quick and research them more. Bile would create and use them on a limited scale expecting them to die on that mission. Eventually he wwould experiment more with them to improve his homo novus more.
You'd have some defective ass space marines that's what would happen. Primaris marines and the Numan are already more advanced, heck standard marines were an upgrade.
@@nbyrne2914 How I understood it the Thunder Warriors were stronger than Space Marines but Space Marines wouldn't have their organs explode after a few years. Also Space Marines have a few more refined abilities while the Thunder Warriors where mostly build like brutes.
@@jasperzanovich2504 I just read the Valdor book. The last battle between the survivors of the Thunder Warriors and the very first newly created Space Marines is shown. It is displayed as a massacre. Thunder Warriors have not only bad gene seed that decays quickly, they are also blood thirsty and subject to their emotions (rage, pride etc). The Space Marines were shown kinda like as a fantastic army, destroying the last TW in cold blood and insane efficiency (and it was their first battle, their trial, no one, even the High Lords of Terra, knew the existence of the SM, except Valdor and Malcador ofc I guess). So I guess, you are maybe right on the point that TW are purely stronger than SM maybe physically, like brutes as you said (I don't remember exactly if they cover that in the book), but the SM are just overall better. In the Devastation of Baal the Flesh Eaters chapter master brings up the point that Guilliman, the currently only primarch, is regent, has Ultramar, one of the biggest chapters, and has just handed thousands of Ultramarines in colorful paints to every official chapter in the galaxy. I am curious why the Slaaneshi space marines don't focus heavily on the dark eldar. Their souls are worth their weight in gold to their patron, plus Commoragh also has a lot of "humanoid resources" for them to capture. Plus they could get psychic powered archeotech that the Imperium is not familiar with and their gods could aid them in wielding it, earning them a major edge. Dangerous opponents to be sure, but the potential payoff is probably very tempting.

We know how the Space Wolves reacted. They pretty much kept the Torch Bearer fleet in orbit over Fenris, only letting them approach when G-man himself showed up. The Wolf Lords were split, and Logan Grimnar didn't trust the Legion Breaker or his new toys. What would happen if fabius bile or belisarius cawl found out how to create thunder warriors?
Interesting idea, my rough take is that Cawl would deem them inefficient since they die fairly quick and research them more.
Bile would create and use them on a limited scale expecting them to die on that mission. Eventually he wwould experiment more with them to improve his homo novus more.
Probably just use it as preference since both can create better shit than TW (Cawl create Primaris and Bile clone Primarch and create new men)
You'd have some defective ass space marines that's what would happen. Primaris marines and the Numan are already more advanced, heck standard marines were an upgrade.
@@nbyrne2914 How I understood it the Thunder Warriors were stronger than Space Marines but Space Marines wouldn't have their organs explode after a few years.

So I think I have to agree with Nathan B here, standard SM were an upgrade to the TW, maybe I'm wrong
In the Devastation of Baal the Flesh Eaters chapter master brings up the point that Guilliman, the currently only primarch, is regent, has Ultramar, one of the biggest chapters, and has just handed thousands of Ultramarines in colorful paints to every official chapter in the galaxy. If the primaris marines do have some secret programming or loyalty to guilliman, he is effectively emperor 2
The Inquisition probably doesn't have much time to think much about Big G's return, what with half the galaxy split by Daemons: whatever a returned Primarch might do, it's little in comparison to what will happen if more of the Imperium's industry is lost.
Seeing how the Black Templars literally had an internal civil war... I guarantee you that by 11th or 12th edition we're probably going to see at least a splinter of them turn renegade... and hopefully take their worst elements with them.
As for the inquisition, I 100% guarantee you that Karamazov is the leader of the dissonant faction that wants to kill Guilliman.

0:08 Well you're at least right with one thing
G mans speech to Helbrecht about duty vs a bruised ago trying to atone for failures was some of BLs best writing
please cite your reading sources in the descriptions of your videos so we can read/listen to the stories that are related to the videos we find most interesting, I have not done a whole lot of reading/listening yet because I am not entirely sure where to start.
Can we get a video about all the first captains during the Horus Heresy? Like what war gear they used and what their primarchs thought of them.
Got my hoodie the other day, and its definitely a banger. This sale is definitely worth it!
Big-G meeting the Blood Ravens would have involved alot of things being bolted down and alot of wargear and technology being "gifted" to them would not be surprised of the Blood Ravens somehow have a another piece of wargear that's somehow a bit bigger for standard astartes.
Hearing a more detailed version of this video makes me have some more respect for Guilliman. Don’t get me wrong I’ve always had respect for the character due to his brilliant leadership but I never knew much about him besides the basic information, so hearing that he really doesn’t deal with nonsense like the High Lords, the Ecclesiarchy, and Glory seeking fleet commanders it really adds more to the character for me since I knew so little about him which in turn makes me respect him more.
Yes but even more interesting to me is Guilliman actually seeing the benefit of the church, and even starting to think maybe the Emperor is a God. Really shows how strong the Church's influence is. It's basically been keeping humanity together for 10,000 years without an actual leader
@@AustinFoss00 True
@@AustinFoss00 His Super Primarch power is literally common sense.
Doesnt sound impressive in comparison to magic powers and the ability to see the future.....
Until you realize that people war scream ...junp out of spaceships... to hack eachother to pieces with medieval weapons
All of a sudden Common sense is OP

"Except for Gabriel Seth, he wasn't very happy." Is that man ever happy about anything?
I also like how Helbrecht arguing with G-man is considered more grief than an actual coup against him.
Make a video on the different harlequin masks majorkill
I can't wait for the Lion to come back, get similar a reaction as Guilliman got (maybe even better due to Guilliman copping most of the grief) and then going to Guilliman and being like: "Bro.....wtf is going on??!!"
I also can't wait for the Lion to see how the Emperor is in the current setting, especially since he and Emperor spoke very frankly with one another. To see the Emperor in his current state is going to have a very adverse effect on the Lion.
Majorkill, awesome content! Quick question, how is the length of the merch? Like, are your merch extra long cut, or will there be a "tall" option in the future? Thanks!
Kunnin Video idea - A hypotetical clash of:
1- The Pale Throng, Shroud masters vs Genestealer cult.
2- Underhive Chaos cult vs Genestealer cult
Do it. Do it now. 🧌
Hey Majorkill, do you have a video or can you tell how you did the lighting for your shelf in the background?
PS: where did you get the Dark Angels helmet? Asking for a friend... 😇
I got my production mate to help me - I got it custom made from a cosplay maker in the philippines

@@lord_inquisitor_flietch Its for firing round corners you filthy heretic.
Guilliman: I'm back, dad! I can help spread your atheistic science empire of freedom no-
The church:
The corrupt high lords who took over the government when you were dead:
Dad who's been sitting in a torture chamber for 10,000 years without being able to talk to anyone while his consciousness is shattered and spread in hell:
The space elf diplomat who is actually the representative of a death god, looking either mad or horny:
The ancient mayan vampire stripper gods in banana costumes guarding your dad (idk why they hate you but they just do):
The lady whose entire job is to explode planets if someone talks sh** about the religion that worships your atheist dad:
The martian mechahentai minister who downloaded 1000 peoples' personalities and is somehow the one least likely to kill you:
The Imperium having turned into a whole galaxy of space nazis that worship dad, eat each others' corpses for breakfast, treat toasters as heretical magic things, is being invaded by like 6 different galactic empires + the Zerg, and has a ton of traitors hiding within it:
I am curious why the Slaaneshi space marines don't focus heavily on the dark eldar. Their souls are worth their weight in gold to their patron, plus Commoragh also has a lot of "humanoid resources" for them to capture. Plus they could get psychic powered archeotech that the Imperium is not familiar with and their gods could aid them in wielding it, earning them a major edge. Dangerous opponents to be sure, but the potential payoff is probably very tempting.
city in vebway and for is hard to get to the city better for them easy pary are caftworlds.
@@radekplug They can eat the dark eldar's brains, now they know exactly how to give the right access codes and what defenses to expect.
Because the Dark Eldar are the biggest contributors to Slaanesh’s power.
While they will continue to go after them just enough to keep them under pressure, they won’t put in enough effort to outright kill them

"The Primarch's coming back..... must be to kill us, LET'S BLOW UP HIS SHIP!"
I think Azrael must've spent waaay too much time interrogating Luther lately, because that sounds awfully familiar.
Rooting for the Emperor is like rooting for the wind or the waves, it feels like your belief really means nothing and the Emperor will move on no matter what. But rooting for Guilliman feels like rooting for a real person that can and probably will fail, and that just feels better.
We know how the Space Wolves reacted. They pretty much kept the Torch Bearer fleet in orbit over Fenris, only letting them approach when G-man himself showed up. The Wolf Lords were split, and Logan Grimnar didn't trust the Legion Breaker or his new toys. There was a lot more that went on, including Guilliman kneeling to Grimnar in front of the assembled Space Wolves, but eventually they got on board with the plan, and Guilliman is using them to hold back the Orks so the Indomitus Crusade can focus on smashing Chaos.
Video idea every primarchs reaction to chaos and demons
Not pursuing Gazghkull may in the end have been of great benifit for the Imperium - as Gazghkull is now Angron's problem.
*Theory;* what if Yarrick knew this would be Gazghkull's reaction and as a self sacrifice _set Angron up_ in a "you and you fight" manipulation that the Eldar would applaud.
And if Yarrick isn't dead, and he's just faking it to get two of the Imperiums greatest threats (and his personal nemesis) to destroy each other … then well, the Eldar would give him a standing ovation.
That really doesn’t help with the tyrnaid situation though
Got the burgundy T-shirt and hoodie a couple weeks ago and can confirm they are super comfy and good quality.
Buy them.
Can you do a video on what would happen if the 2nd and 11th legion never were lost and what they could have looked like
I love the hoodie! Very warm and comfortable! I like the long fit! I got a dude’s small, and it fits really big, but that’s like 90% of my hoodies. Fully expected. It’s like being engulfed by the enormity of the galaxy! And great for this Texas winter, which finally arrived.
Got here so fast there's no view yet
yesterday I read the funniest story ever, where "kai Tulane" with the Emperor and Horus battle vision came to the apothecary in the city of the "asking" or "poor". Hilarious XDD
