    i, too, have my own way of reading which revolves around numerology with a touch of astrology and a sprinkling of rws. i just love how you describe how we all are given the gift of this "bone structure" which supports our individual styles.

    Thank yo so much, this was so brilliant. I'm watching it a 2nd time actually, because I was cleaning and listening and I want to really watch this time. I giggled twice about Patrick filling your holes, because I'm a child. Your decks are marvelous. My favorite is the Ancient Italian Tarot (green box mass market). 🙌🏼

    I inherited a deck from a great aunt it says 1984 on the side and has a company name it’s a complete deck (I think 💭 all the cards major and minor are there but there are more than that also in the deck ), anyhoo I can’t find my exact cards anywhere 🤷🏼‍♀️. The magician card in particular and my popess cards are much different than the ones I have seen. There is a goblet of blood and a knife in front of the magician

      I actually think that is a great idea, I just think maybe a dude needs to do it :D Not being a dude, I’m not really qualified to say what is best for one not to mention, like women, they likely have a variety of different tastes. I think the one deck that men I know have responded to the most was the Darkness of Light Tarot :)

    Is it wrong to call cartomancy instruments oracles, and consider tarot an oracle, and consider also not all oracles are tarot? I'm just puzzled by the word tarot, I wanna find where does it come from.

    • @TheTruthinStory
      @TheTruthinStory  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's interesting :D Technically an oracle is the person who people seek the message from, so the deck becomes the oracle that we seek messages from so anything we use to gain messages could be called an oracle--including Tarot. Tarot, however, is from the Italian playing card game Tarocchi and is a specific deck of playing cards with 78 cards, a set of trumps or majors, and four suits--so other oracles would not be considered tarot. Hope that makes sense :D

      @@TheTruthinStory Yes, it makes a lot of sense! It just, when thinking about it or explaining it to others - it's almost like saying a tongue twister. 😋

    Well maybe it's bc it's a genetic thing in families. They were drawing what was familiar. It runs in my family. I think you could have been a little less giggly about it. Kinda mean if you ask me. Laughing and saying cross eyed shows your ignorance. How do you teach??? At least be respectful and use the medical term.

    • @TheTruthinStory
      @TheTruthinStory  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very fair point. I just have always adored that the whole deck is that way artistically in choice and was completely insensitive to it as a medical condition. I will edit the video with a note as to why, thank you for sharing your perspective.

      Seen as this is a comments section and is where people obviously give their opinions i don't often like to do so but i want to in this case - I have watched this and although i can appreciate how you may feel about anything of this nature given your own admission of your own family genetics i think we can often loose sight of the more important aspect when getting offending by something in life which is, intention. Where did this giggling/laughter come from? Was it intentionally 'ignorant' as you called it? Was it intentionally 'mean'? Was Kelly here actually talking about people with genetic conditions that lead them to display this appearance or people with medical conditions that lead to this and then giggling about it? Did she talk derogatively about any conditions or ailments to do with this? No. There are many things that we may innately find funny in this crazy life of ours and yes some of these can be routed in mannerisms passed down through generations to us (often to make us laugh as children) where at one point they were indeed mocking/'making fun' about someone's appearance etc but has since just become a 'funny face' to pull and nothing more attached to it. For example - many of us recognise and still to this day will do a playful gesture of sticking our tongue out at someone whether it be goofing around to a young child to make them laugh or just in a 'playful' way to another....regardless this act could - by your assertions here (any many others now days especially) be seen as offensive, disrespectful, ignorant and mean too. My feeling is we have to try understand the intentionality behind everything we experience in life especially from other souls in this life time as that is key - not try to dictate/control how others live/express themselves through shaming and guilt in particular. Type in google "tongue sticking condition" and you will images of a mix of people with a genuine genetic or medical condition and also pictures of people just sticking there tongue out in that classic manner. Also can i confirm where you got the information of this deck being like this due to genetics? It would be interesting to read up as Kelly did ask if anyone knew why they were depicted like this as she didn't know. And also what is the medical term that you asked her to use? Is it genetic or medical or both? Thank you as any extra info is appreciated.
