Muscles aren't relevant for his position. Quick acceleration and stamina, general sharpness like he mentioned is so so important. I found this recently when I didn't play for four months because of stupid work hours, and whilst going to the gym, I was so unfit. It's so underrated the fitness side of it.
OllyFIFAHD well muscles kind of matters, he doesn't have to be like super muscular but at least have a little bit of muscle because their could be defender that could be slow but could easily push Manny down and Manny will not be able to score

Still play semi-pro football. It'll be Romford's loss if you go and have trials for other teams at the same level or maybe a division down. Semi-pro, even at level 9 or 10 is still an incredibly high level for the normal person. It'd be cool to see you get weekly game time at whatever club. Even at the qualifying rounds, playing the FA Cup is special and an utter privilege, so hopefully you can do that again.

This is a very inspirational video for me.Last year I was playing Premier soccer at the #2 ranked team in my state. I’m from the US and we don’t have any non-league teams we just have recreational (Sunday league) competitive travel (almost like Sunday league but you travel to other towns) and premier (you travel to other states). Anyway I was playing for this team and I started the season well scoring 8 goals in 9 games but then all of the sudden the coach stopped playing me and my confidence dropped. I didn’t score any more goals for the remaining games of the season and when tryouts came at the end of the season I was cut from the team. I was so disappointed and I knew I was better than some of the other players on the team. Now I have found a new premier team and it has been going pretty well. My coach started playing me at center back even though I’m normally a winger. Anyway this video just reminds me a lot of my experience with soccer and for anyone else out there struggling with stuff like this, find a team where you can play like yourself and have a good time because in the end, that is what the game is about.

Played State last year, only playing for an average club though atm, been told I need to leave and go look for better opportunities, can’t do that this year as season is just about to start. This year is just getting back my confidence and playing the best football I can, preparing for the next couple years.

No offence but... Maybe because you just weren’t good enough for that level? Why can’t people accept that? There’s a huge gap between being good at Sunday League football and being good at Semi-Pro football. The standard in terms of quality and fitness is miles apart. No excuses, there must be a reason they didn’t play you much/dropped you indefinitely! Not hating, just giving a realistic perspective rather than other comments I’m seeing; saying you should play in the Premier League instead 😂🙈 C’mon.

I saw him play many times. Unfortunately he was not good enough for that level, he may have done well in the trials and pre season but you can not get a real reflection until the season starts and he was left wanting.

Not being picked is why I dropped football being a big striker and having decent technique being dropped for a guy who has gammy knees and has only ever scored penalties is demoralising the manager then started playing me in defensive midfield (like yourself) so I had an argument with him an quit

I say you go to a few semi-pro trials in the summer. scored and put a man of the match performances in at Romford, just need to find the right team now and you will smash it.
You should try just to see where it goes. It will be good for you. Maybe even try join hastag or a championship club like fulham via trials
