Wow this one is ELITE! So clean. Definitely using this as inspiration. Also, there's one symbol I'm having trouble translating but overall seems to mean "good things will happen today" - anyone know the symbol before う at the very end? My phone keeps searching it as そ but it looks more like ふ to me.

I prefer the decoy ducks because they look more earthy and realistic. The rubber duckies are too pop looking where they don't blend in easily and i hate their size. It would be different if they were a little smaller then i could imagine them as cute ducklings but they're too big.
For kidcore islands they're great but i don't think they look good in the other themes, you could make it work for spring and cottage core but everything else they look tacky in or stick out too much like a sore thumb in my opinion. But it all depends on their placement like if they're setup to look like a living duck at a pond or in a park, vs them being outside a toy store or at a clutter junkyard or something implying they're a toy. I don't use them as actual ducks.
The rubber ducky works in this island though since there's so many bold white colors, and soft frilly things, so a baby whiter kind of duck works, but if the island was taking a more serious neutral tone where it's supposed to be ultra realistic, the rubber ducks would look goofy.
