Flash flood in Bhagsunag Waterfall, Mcleodganj at around 1:00 PM on 14 September 2018.
Video recorded by me.
Do not venture into the rivers during rainy season.
Water level may rise suddenly resulting in mishap.

Why are people allowed to built those dirty looking shacks around natural places. They ruins the beauty of nature. Kempty fall is one such example which has been converted to public pool .

It wasn't disaster stop believing what media says, whenever it rains rivers swell its normal, People should not build homes or buildings near it nor should go near water whenever it rains.

@@commentor2594 no actually i meant for that particular situation only they built homes on the way of bhagsunag waterfall and being Himachali I love mother nature that's why i write here we don't understand when mother nature gives us warning we should understand that

@@RiyasBling okay but tell me every year thousands die from floods in India in every stare but people never say don't visit their state that honor is only for himachal btw 30 lakh people of himachal depend on tourism trying to earn living through proper and legal living.

@@RiyasBling I am from dharamshala there are no homes in bhagsunag water fall, there is a stream that flows from dharamkot to bhagsunag that stream area was 20 feet but people built building on it and reduced it to 2 feet and that lead water to road, water fall is far away from settlement of bhagsunag also in area around chetaru pwd build waking bridges at low heights thereby blocking water and all bridges were washed away and inturn water stream changed course.

I didn't said that even i love himachal and i know better that himachal tourism is important for all of us ,the point i said they made property in the way of waterfall and you are saying that was stream of bhagsunag and keeping in mind if you are from dharamshala i am from mandi and i also lived in dharamshala few years back so i know about it .I am only saying here is we should understand the warning signals given by mother nature that's it don't exaggerate it 🙏
