The Evesham Loop Line - Part 1 - Barnt Green to Redditch

61 years ago, there used to be a train line running between Barnt Green and Evesham. It was called the Evesham Loop. in 1965, two thirds of it was ripped up and abandoned. We trace the stations between Barnt Green and Evesham in this 4 part video series.

The old railway line ran through greenlands redditch towards Studley which is were i lived for most of my life not much left now

Barnt green is still here as of today and so is redditch and alvechurch

As of today redditch is now the terminus of the cross city line

Considering the houses in Barnt Green are millions of pounds each, the station looks pretty grotty. A facelift needed.
