Late to the party but this is an awesome tutorial. Thanks! I wondered if there is anything special I need to do to modify this to be a post processing shader.
Yeah i should be streaming tonight and glad it helped. Like i said in the video its mainly just the pixel effect i was trying to look at. There are lots of different ways you can achieve a television material but the pixels in a way should always be there :)
Great video!
Hey, Thanks. That little detail improve a lot the feeling of the screen. Awsome tutorial
Really great videos,I cannot help watching all advanced materials videos. The most challenging is the Earth Project, really cool!!!
Awesome. I want to try this on a Capture 2D. I'm working on a big screen tv and want this exact effect.
Awesome, thanks!

hmm probably would need a few adjustments. If you've worked with post processing before it shouldn't be too hard to achieve.
@@StevesTutorials Unfortunately I don't have a ton of experience with post processing materials but I'll try to figure it out!
good stuff, thx

how to receive shadow on 100% transparent material? Something like a
cutout material, where you dont see color, only shadows from other
objects.
This is great! Is it possible to overlay this material on a video in Unreal?
Don't see why not :)
@@StevesTutorials Hmmm..I'll give it a try..
@@StevesTutorials Yep...Its working, cheers!
