You SAY you wouldn’t regret it, but reality is you probably would. If you overspend and had tons of problems come up in a Short period of time, even if you purchased a dream car; chalk full of problems that aren’t cheap wouldn’t be a “oh I’m still happy” moment.

You know i dont follow the channel or anything but i saw a couple of the longer videos, a few comments and your replies and its just so nice to see someone grinding to treat themselves in life. Cant hate on that. Pretty cool i just cant put my thoughts into words.
Starters on c6 zo6 tend to go out because of the heat that come off the long tube headers if equipped with aftermarket headers. A lot of guys will put a heat shielding on the starter to protect it and haven’t seen starter failures after that.
Heat and temperature cycling, the nemesis of every vehicle.

My second car was a tuned GTI. They are pretty nice and they can feel quick too. I'll always get a kick out of them when I see em. I drove some RWD after and it's hard for me to think about doing any performance to anything else nowadays. It's just a very different experience.
I came back from college and drove my mustang and the open road with a 6 speed has to be the best feeling in the world

1:30 oh my god it really does make that squeaking sound! I play GT7 and yesterday I was hearing this squeaking noise coming from my C6. It's swapped with a chiron engine but still I can't believe they added that detail lmao
The LS7 is GM’s ultimate NA engine. It’s a special engine in a special car. More so than the ZR1 if you as me. How many supercharged 6.2L engines did GM make after the ZR1? A lot!
Tires went out?? I hope so! Put new Michelin's on & keep going! My BMW M5 Comp came with Pirelli P Zeros, and Zero is how happy I was with them! Michelin's make that car so much sweeter!
I rather buy an older corvette even if it needs some wear and tear repairs and such because the new ones are so astronomical in price. Love the content 🙂 happy for you living life!

Well, I wouldn't paint a car any color...above my pay grade! But, I bought a yellow one 30.5 years ago, and had a terrific painter strip & repaint in 2015! Clear coat really makes it pop!

hello everybody , I have a c6 Z06 stock.I think , but of course is only my impression, when you touch the car and modify the car, unless the job is superprofessionality done ,you gonna have lot of problems. If I did something to mine it would be a Stage 2 cam just to have 600 hp.
My Ex-Lead sold his C6 Z06 after it stopped starting and only 2 months of ownership. Starts when it's cool, of course all the heat is coming from the header. I bought his extra starter and blanket off of him. I never knew procharging a c6 Z06 is a bad idea.
Yea its not built for it thats why the grandsport is such a better platform for modding

That's why i got a Grand Sport. Handle boost and reliable. Just don't have the carbon fiber body or fenders. Not a deal breaker for me. IMO

putting a blower on an LS7 is not a good idea. Heads and cam all the way, but a LS3 is what you want if you're gonna do a blower. My Z06 has cost me a lot too, but it's all g2g now

That's strange...mine is the exact same color, and mine isn't a gas guzzler. Besides, they didn't put the gas guzzler tax on the C6Z06, but they did on the 2009-2013 ZR1. My Z06 is my favorite of 6 Corvettes. Sold my C7 with only 7k to my son, and then my C6Z51 to my pretty daughter!

Bro welcome to cars. They all cost money, and the more you press the gas pedal, the more they cost. The second you start adding boost, whether there stock or not, is when stuff starts to blow up even faster. All cars are a money pit, it's the nature of the game. There's no "reliable" fast cars, they're either fast, or reliable... not both.

Hey, I was wondering about getting a C5 or C4 Corvette do you have any tips or pointers as a younger car enthusiast
Im 16 and have a c4, later models are definantly better having 300 hp from 92-96 with the lt1 base model. If you're a bigger taller person, I would advbise to see how you like the interior because it is signifigantly smaller than a c5. I personally like my c4 more than a c5 because c5s are more normalized and basic to where yolu see tgem all the time, where as a c4 you dont, and people love that 90s look to the car.

you buy a corvette when you have money. this car aint for everyone so you can't really complain about the gas prices and maintenance.
The c6 was known to have great gas mileage and wasn’t even charged a gas guzzler tax when new. I owned a 6,7, and now 8 z06 and the c6 had great gas mileage. You’re obviously ragging it out all of the time and your hp mods don’t help. If you think the c6 is bad, you don’t want to know how quickly the c8 consumes gas.

Yea man the LS7 block is very thin. Can you boost it...yes but you can't get the desired psi and still be safe or reliable. The Z06 C6 is famous for amazing NA. If you really tried amd spent money 💰 you can get it to 700hp.

The engine is cammed too. I can tell by the choppy idle. You should have shit tons of reliable power. No boosters needed there...
