It was so sweet & perfect in its simplicity because it showed how these women know & love each other so deeply & fully & for so long that there was no need for anything OTT. All that mattered was that they were together & ready for forever. But yes, this terrible show was blessed to have a couple of excellent actresses like Jennifer & Sepi who could make reading the phone book interesting & sexy.
Raw energy and chemistry....indeed. What's even more remarkable is that they've managed to generate this for nearly 20 years. What an incredible gift to us who love Tibette.
It's legit hard to believe these two had never been in a relationship outside the screen. The amount of affection jennifer showcase is astonishingly immaculate.
This proposal was perfect. I loved that they accidentally proposed to each other simultaneously, with greasy fingers and burger sauce on their lips. I loved that Bette was shy and had been nervous in the build up, despite being so bold in everything else she does. No grand gesture was needed (we'd already had it in episode 2) and for all the drama that has went on between these two, a low key, undramatic, it-just-feels-right type proposal was spot on. They got this so right. I think Kate has partial credit for this (the location anyway). It was perfect. I did cry. Twice. I want to watch Bette sliding an engagement ring onto Tina's finger on repeat forever.

Watching you "take in" this scene was as lovely as the scene itself. I, like you, stopped watching after episode 3 of this season for same reasons you share in other videos. One of the truest, more precious aspects of the show since OG times is the chemistry between Bette & Tina and the actual actors themselves. Thank you for sharing. You'd realize how they have this chemistry if you'd watch more Jen movies. She won't do anything that's not complex. "Twilight of the Golds" is a great movie for starters and it has gay plot. "4 Rooms" displays her unique comedic character that will surprise her fans. The woma. IS intense. LOL!!! I'm waiting for "In the Soup" to see her beautifully filmed in black and white which was made when she was in her early 30tys. It's hard to belie e that this beautiful woman was 41 when L Word was begun.
