Agnetha has always been so delicate when answering questions, and there was always more pulsating behind that she conveyed with so much graciousness, authenticity and truth. She was so compassionate, stark and understanding while here own soul was bleeding. One can only love and admire her and want to hug here with tenderness and comfort her bleeding soul.

Wow. She is totally beautiful at this point in her life. She was always a beauty, but at this point she had a mature beauty that was unmatched.
She sure had the ABBA answer down pat at this point.
Wow!!!! Still can't get over what a ravishing beauty she was right then.

ABBA show survived in her for more years in 80s. She looks fine facing audience. She talks that she likes to work with the rest of ABBA for making one or two records but she just doesn't like to be with them in public. Her view of life substantially differs from ABBA boys but she has courage to stand tall looking forward.

I love "yes" at 0:05. Must have put interviewer into a panic ("am I going to have to do all of the work?"). [She let him off though.]

@@imienazwisko9188 Agnetha had her first number 1 song (written by herself) when she was 17 before ABBA even existed. After that, she had 18 charting singles. She was one of Sweden's most popular pop music artists. After ABBA, all her 5 albums went to number 1 or 2 in Sweden. Her last album in 2013 was top 10 in 9 countries including the UK and Australia.
So, she did pretty well for herself!

@@abbadocs I lived in the US since 1980. ABBA was not popular in America at that time. In the 80's in NYC area everybody was listening to WPLJ FM radio station or KROCK FM station. Americans don't listen to European music with exception to some British music.
I remember ABBA from Europe from the 70's. Every ABBA album was a hit, every song was popular in Europe in the 70's. I wonder why ABBA was not popular in the US. The individual band members albums were not known in the US. I wonder why. Did ABBA ever go on tour in the US?

@@abbadocs American music business is very different from the European music market.
I remember there was a movie ABBA live tour with John Scofield on guitar. I remember the the big stage, two drummers playing simultaneously. It was a good show in European style. When the Deep Purple came to the US they performed in California at a major music outdoor festival with American bands. When they performed they shocked the audience with their performance and behaviour. It was a great show that turned into disaster. Their touring in the US was over. The Led Zeppelin did much better. They played at the Madison Square Garden in 1973 with a huge success.
The way the band from Europe is introduced in the US is critical to the future success. The American music business was always extremely competitive. The tour of the European band should be carefully planned with cooperation of American managers that understand the local music business.
ABBA needed to conquer the American market in the 70's. In 1979 the music business was recovering from the disco era. ABBA should have toured the US before the disco fever.
US is a huge market with 300 million people and mixtures of cultures. Canada is another big market. When the audience like the band, it turns into a gold mine. The Beatles concurred the US music industry in a text book style. That's why McCartney is today the richest musician alive and Ringo is the richest drummer alive. They are smart businessmen, who don't even read music.
      Isn't this incredible?
