Golf Cart Converted to Hunting Buggy Walk Around

In an attempt to get to my hunting spots a little quieter and with less odor, I decided to get an electric hunting cart or hunting buggy. After pricing the new carts on the market and seeing that the older, popular brands were discontinued, I started looking into getting an electric golf cart and making the necessary modifications to make it my hunting buggy. This 2004 Club Car DS has been an excellent choice to fit my needs down at the hunting property. All of the medications made so far are in the $2,000.00 range and I’m hoping to soon make additional changes but a little more DIY and less expensive. Loved the walk around of your cart. I have almost the same set up on my '89 Club Car DS only mine is gas and has an aluminum diamond plate bed on back. I have the Koplin gun rack too.

Very nice cart and great video. Did you use 1x1 aluminum square tubing for the rear rifle mount across the roof supports? I’m looking to do the same.

Looks great. How well does it handle off road. I’m looking to do something similar. I’ve been debating getting something with 4WD but unsure if it’s needed. Some decent sand and clay where I hunt.

Not like an ATV but it does what I need going to and from the stand, hauling corn and tools to the stand.
