Why do you even bother to do a TH-cam video if you never intend to answer questions?

Precisely .. more often than not.. absolutely zero.. only commenters will offer some advice on videos. This even applies to even marketed COPD items such as a broncilator useage. Very unimpressive. Don't know why people don't thumbs down on a regulator basis.

Well that was honest. 5 Heart valves on a friend has much longer life offering. Looks like i chose the wrong disease.😅
Hes does have medical aid and that does help him somewhat too.

I'm not a doctor but the first question is answered in the video; LVRS is a last resort treatment after all other avenues have been tried. With regards the 'one lung' question, from my own reading, LVRS is actually better utilised in patients where one lung is significantly more impacted than the other, rather than in patients where the damage is bilateral (on both sides)

I did not qualify for the Zepher valve but a few more tests later I qualified for LVRS. They removed a quarter of each top lobes, April 2021. I gained 30 lbs during the initial recovery. As I improved I walked my treadmill and stationary bike as well as a weight lifting regiment. Previously I was on 2 liters O2 all the time. Then I went to 2 liters with activity and a portable pulse unit at 3. I resumed deer hunting gun and bow, but now I use an ATV to get to my stand and get my deer out. I resumed Motorcycle riding last year. I am at 1liter O2 now and 2 on portable with activity. If I move slowly I can do most things without 02. Just today, the start of WI gun deer season I took my portable but did not need it until I bagged my deer. Then I needed it to muscle the deer around to dress it and hook it up for the drag back to my truck. I am on 5mg prednisone but the doctor wants me to start weening myself off it. A little leery about that.

So LVRS is basically a "last resort" treatment ?
