People please look for various solutions on you tube for at least half and hour before going for anything there are many misleading videos like this one ,your fault was that you forgot your password ,but now you don't have to wipe all your data as well as per this video you can still retrieve your phone without data loss believe me as it just happened to me right now 5 minutes ago just go on to your Samsung account ,then find my phone ,then unlock my phone and that it brother your phone is unlocked without data loss ,if i would have just relied on this video i was doomed

You are right bro. If the phone is legit and registered with samsung account, its 5 min to unlock the device. Should have Mobile Data or be connected on Wifi

went into Samsung & Vodafone neither could help me after latest update for Note 8 Samsung keyboard wouldn't work, couldn't turn off phone or enter password, without keyboard phone was useless.
Neither Samsung or Vodafone could fix the issue, unless it cost me big$$, thankfully I found your video.
Yes I lost everything on my phone but it was worth it to be able to use it again without costing money but all I had to do was sign back into Google account and download my apps again, everything was saved into Google.thankyou

He did t explain 100% the correct steps and sprints reset is different than say verizons. If you can't turn the phone off because of the password, 1.) press and hold Volume down + Power + Bixby. 2.) As soon as the phone turns off, keep holding all buttons except hold power up instead of power down and the screen will pop up for you. Release all buttons. 3.) Proceed to wipe data/factory reset.
