This project is lovely. My mother in law made a carpet one many years ago about 3’ x 5’. She made it to keep by her hearth. She cropped her strands to not be as long as yours however. She has since passed but I kept it. She was like a second mom to me. Nice remembrance of her.
This is beautiful! I used to do these with kits when I was a kid. A photo of one popped up the other day and has inspired me to try it out again. The last time I worked on one was with fabric rags during the 90s and it was much harder. My mother started it, I tried to work on it awhile, but eventually handed it back to her. It’s probably sitting unfinished somewhere 😭
Latch hook does seem quite fun for wild textures I really need to get cracking, I just need a good convas and I'll be good to go! Lovely project darling ❤️
Latch hooking is so easy . Ive just purchased a kit with all the great instructions Including all the beautiful colored yarn which were precut I had to purchase my tool called latch hook , couldn't believe how easy it is working with the tool latch hooker tool.
hi. ive been latching rugs for 35 yrs its my absolute favorite craft. most kits come with the yarn pre cut. the tool they included is really nice though
It turned out so well! Lovely. Great tips at the end too. I was trying to work out whether to go with punch needle or latch hook project and given the length of time it took I think I’ll try punch needle first. Thank you for your videos, they are so informative and your work is beautiful. Love from Australia xo
Hi!! Thanks for the video. Though it looks like the link to your shop under this video is messed up. You might want to take a look at it. It takes me to a picture of a pink milkshake and has a quote underneath about the milkshake. Just a friendly FYI if you didn't know !! :)
So I’ve been doing Latch hook since I was a teen. My advice because you never done this before you should get one that is pre-patterned. That way you can learn. Because you cutting that yarn like that is way too long. If you need me to do a video to show you I can
Your length of yarn is a little long but the kit I got the yarn was half the length, the design I'm working with is The American Flag and Bald Eagle beautiful great design .
i see the company is we are knitters but its clear they are not great with latch hook kits. if you make the length guide half you can only cut it once and it will b h length. the other method is faster from my experience. and you can keep few strands in hand to go faster as well. but in the end crafting is all about what works for you and does not need to be exacting
4min10sek: Hmm, I do not see why you need this special Latch Hook needle for this shown technique...a simple crocheting needle would do nicely for this shown way..as well imho
i loved doing these when i was a kid i have been waiting for them to come back in trend
I got the Bernat Boho latch hook kit and I am obsessed with doing it now! It's so relaxing and fun!

That sounds so lovely. These kind of pieces can go for generations and become very meaningful!
This looks so fun! I'm going to order one of the Bernat Boho latch hook kits to try it out.

the length of the yarn pieces please?
اتمنه اشتغل وياج احب التطريزوجاي اتعلم ❤😊😊
I wrap my yarn around the card the short way and just cut once. Cutting it off the card and having to cut it again seems less accurate.
What is price of the package "we are knitter" please tell me
How thick is the wool? Thanks
The yarn in a real Latch Hook package comes ready cut into 6 inch strands, you don't have to cut it yourself.
