Reminds me of my ice skating days. When the screw that held the blade in place would start to fall out (waterlogged boot) you’d stick a toothpick next to the screw & it’d stay.
Reminds me of my knee surgery, they had to keep removing the screws so much they just started throwing whatever was laying on the floor around the operating table in there to tighten that puppy up. Now I walk with a jingle.
Don't use metal, like this guy has. Stick with wood or plastic, metal can cause galvanic corrosion and will work at first, but over time will make things worse.
Thanks a lot...you saved me from a big embarrassment in front of my GF. My first ever DIY project in the new house and I drilled a hole way too big for the screw. Couldn't be bothered to go to the local B&Q and buy some wall pluggers. Used some zip ties lying around in the house and it worked like a dream. Everyday is a school day! 😂
Oh don't forget: a straw, a match, a match stick, a match cover, a toothpick, wood dough, Elmer's, a nail, a piece of placemat, carpet, or roofing tile. Yeah anything.
The reason a screw is used is so that it’s harder to pull it out of something, so when a storm comes or some damage occurs it’s more likely to hold, however not when the friction is reliant on some crushed plastic

"I used the screw to hold the screw"
Alright Thanos…
the screw: *doesn't hold on properly

This sounds like the set up to a joke
Why would you put your tv above your bed?😐
70" TV is never made. Either it should be 65" or 75". Don't fool us. We know you just hanged your 32" TV LOL.

Yo that's actually a good idea
Very funny
This is so good, I want to go strip out some screw holes just to fix them.

Don't do it, this only works on a hole that's had one screw.
😂😂😂😂
Lol you feeling Guilty bruh! Lol

Wow! It's almost like you could use a rawlplug to do this....
You could although I have never used a rawlplug in wood. Plan A for me would be using a bigger screw or packing it up with matches / wood.
No you can't you have to use a ziptie
Most of these videos are for quick fix scenarios when you’re in a pinch….
Or just use a larger gauge screw. It looks like an #8 so use a #10
Problem solved
@@dontworryboutit3249 yeah, just like what the op said in the title and pinned comment. Come on guys, even blind people can see that
Bro used everything but couldn't use a bigger screw🗿
That’s cool that all of these random things will suffice
My brain: but imagine your finger in there
"Oh man I got a loose screw"
Piece of wood: *My time has come*
Thats actually the closest thing to the proper way, supposed to glue a dowel in and re drill
My favorite one was when the screw got screwed.
so you can put anything down there and the screw will grab
Yep, pretty much any solid except for poop.
Not water

@@Arizona9001 what about constipated poop?
My dad used to use a couple of toothpicks with wood glue to make sure the toothpicks fused with the wood of the main piece so the screw would hold.
Actually fucking helpful “hacks” big ups 👍🏻
Damn, someone should invent a solution to this problem!
So when they said I had a screw loose all I needed was a zip tie?
Other idea. Don’t overdrill the hole and if you do, get a larger screw so it actually has grip.
Thats not always going to work. It depends on what your doing. Over drilling happens not all the time but occasionally
Finally, a tip that's actually extremely useful 👌
if it's emergency and you don't want to ruin the wood or whatever is it, use sewing thread, itll roll and wrap around the screw, even works on iron
This is the smartest thing I’ve seen 🙌🔥
Golf tee work the best.
Omg a life saver thank you God bless you . 💎🙏
Thanks for telling me tips that never been used in my life
Right mind
I know plenty of people who have a screw loose. I'll send them this video 😀👍
"Tox" , i dont know what you call it in your country , but it is named "tox" in our country basically 1$ small box probablly has 50pcs inside.
Anchors
Lmao these diy things are literally for end times cause there is not shortage on anchors and you never run out
Alternate title:
How to improvise an anchor
The 2nd screw was my favorite
Out of anything I've seen on this channel this is the only tip I would use
This was amazingly satisfying.
just earned yourself a subscriber. Was making a flail and the screw that held the chain wasnt right so i had to rescrew it.
Wow.. thanks!!! This is what I'm looking for!!
Me watching to learn and overly excited that I have a pack of zip ties for no reason....lemme go get my tool belt😂😂😂

Wow. The first tool demonstration video that’s actually useful. I feel refreshed on my outlook of life

I wouldn't fix it, I would be like "screw this!"

Editor: How smooth do you want this loop to be?
Also Editor: Yes.
Oh don't forget: a straw, a match, a match stick, a match cover, a toothpick, wood dough, Elmer's, a nail, a piece of placemat, carpet, or roofing tile. Yeah anything.
So smooth and interesting ☺️
This is an actual useful tool tip
Real geniuses y'all are
As an electrician I can say I’ve used almost any of those
Okay… I don’t think these options will work for the screws I have loose!🤪🤣
I use bread sticks!
Toothpicks and wood glue is what I've always used.
A rawlplug would still be my preferred choice
Golf tee and wood glue works the best.
This is so satisfying
The screw anchor: do i not exist or what?
My uncle and now me always keep a box of wooden toothpicks or chopsticks exactly for this lol.
"Screw-A-Screw" was the most creative. But which solution worked the best?
A bigger screw makes life easier.
Oh this is a big help!
My favorite it toothpicks. You can tap them in with your hammer
This is extremely satisfying
Sometimes this works. Other times you just pull other shit out when the screws fail to bite.
100% great stuff.
Couple of toothpicks always does the job for me lol
I actually used this yesterday very usefull trick!
Excellent advice!!!!!! Ignore the Trolls. You rock! I have used some of your tips, and I'm thankful for them! 🤗

The best one was the yellow zip tie. Cut
I love these.
Literally pack some shit there
You have no idea how many times I’ve used sticks or zip ties as anchors🤣
Also, if you buy ice cream you got a dual purpose purchase. Every stick that comes with it can be split into pieces
I took all the screws out door & lost them. I'll find the exact match but to keep from replacing $600 door I'll try this!
This is oddly satisfying…👍
Why do i found this satisfying?
The upside screw was insane....
Tooth picks are nice in a bind, screw anchors would be ideal though
For the love of god just buy a plastic molly bolt assortment
Why is this so satisfying to watch 😂
Really used the same hole too to prove usefulness. Respect
Raw plugs: Am I a joke to you?
The reason a screw is used is so that it’s harder to pull it out of something, so when a storm comes or some damage occurs it’s more likely to hold, however not when the friction is reliant on some crushed plastic
it also grabs the sold wood on the side, so it is stronger than a nail but worse than a normal screw
This was oddly satisfying
わぁー良く考えたね。凄い。勉強になります。
If you can afford zip ties, I am sure you can afford some plugs
match stick is God tier
Chuck anything In it will do haha. This is a good one.
"Have you got plugs?"
"Nah but I'll just use this bit of wire and hope it doesn't get pushed into a pipe, and screw into the pipe"
Rawlplugs: Am I joke to you?
If its wood just bore a 6mm pilot hole there and you can get away with using a drywall fixing and screwing into that. Pretty sturdy.
The last two you should never do💀
That's it! I'm starting a band called The Ant Farm Carpenters.

Hmmmm imagine if there were some kinda plug for a wall that screws could go in 🤔
