    Now THAT is satisfying to watch and listen to.
    I’ve never really understood ASMR, but this sounds and looks absolutely amazing to me.
    The best thing would be to actually be there to hear the sound in person and then pick up some of those wood shavings too.

    Just to point out, this thing doesn't use speed and momentum to get through the stump. It uses sheer force. That is one powerful drill.

    Very nice attachment... my uncle's got the cat 299d I believe it's called. It's the biggest skidsteer cat makes... hes got a stump bucket, looks like the jaws of a alligator with 3 teeth in the front, but he doesnt have one of those. Those are nice. The only benefit to the stump bucket is y get the WHOLE stump out. Roots and all

    Used to have one of these stump grinders. Problem was leaving the roots behind. Have used a track steer with a root fork ever since. Takes 5 minutes to lift the stump, roots and then shed it with the quick attach for the blade to backfill the hole. Root fork $1200 versus $5500 for grinder.

    Stump grinders are fun. I rented a Vermeer SC30TX over a weekend to clear out my lawn, and it made mince meat out of the stumps that were left over by the previous owner.

    By cleaning the ground around the stump, a chainsaw can cut 1/2” above the ground. Basically removing the stump, and getting another piece of firewood

      I try to give my wood away before loading it, we have so much it's impossible to keep up with,, this idea of a stumper seems stupid unless you own a grove. The reason to cut the stump lower is to save time cleaning up the stump grindings... Still impressive though

    Years ago (1990s) I saw a video of a really huge version of one of these totally mince a stump that must have been 6 feet across easy. It looked like a bomb exploding in slow motion. Just amazing stuff.

      Me, I just had it cut to the ground, let it sit for a year, dug some of it out, put some gas in it, let it burn. burned out in about 3 days. Dug up the roots, simple and FREE :)

    This reminds me of the live action Casper movie when the three ghosts are eating at the table and everything is just going through them and landing on the floor. Going forward, the stump eater can have a tasty stump for a snack

    Im from the school where I put a bunch of limbs and burnables around it and give it a good diesel bath and keep doing that till its all happy. I see all the limbs and leaves there and think I could have solved this problem and cleaned up the area for around 20 bucks in diesel tops. When you dont got a lot of money you would be amazed at how many problems you can solve for 20 bucks.
