I bought a Transit Connect a few months ago for all the reasons you pointed out in the video - drives like a car, lots of room, easy to get in and out of. It's a great little van.
I have a Transit Connect 2015 love it.... just converted the back into a camper.. 10 minutes to convert back to a van...

Just bought a lwb 19 plate in black awaiting delivery as we speak, Believe it or not also ordered exactly the same wheels in 20s and the front and rear spoilers kits....
where did you get the aftermarket parts for the connect?
I have the cargo version but have started a little family so looking into getting the passenger. I love my connect it’s been so nice to have the space for camping and storing my motorcycle

I drive those at work, 5 days a week I'm in my 18 plate transit LWB high roof but if I do a Saturday I drive one of those "noddy" vans 😂
Yes the windscreen is humungus and the dash is about 10 feet deep

Dan23 7 Best way I find to not play with my phone in my connect is put it on the windscreen mount...... dash is so deep it's a stop and take seat belt off to reach it lol

I now am on my 3rd transit connect. This one is a 1.8 TD Limited Edition All the toys, It's a 2011 and it's the sort of thing that you simply just jump in turn the key it's off.
If it gets a scratch or a dent, then so what..... lol
Really it is just what it said on the tin as so to speak.
It's great on diesel 46mpg on a run 42 mpg round town.

Biggest windscreen in the world!!!... tell me about it... I work for a very well known glass repair and replacement company and they are a pain in the arse to replace. Nice van though
I have one of these 😁 and love it drive it every day in life never had a problem with other than a clutch after I got it mapped 😏 cheap mans m sport I suppose 🤷♂️
Where did you get yours mapped? I believe the 1.6 TDCI is the same as in my mk6 fiesta zetec s
Zain K I sent my ecu to pumaspeed as they were doing my mates car st the same time, I think they are the same I just changed my clutch to the m sport one, not much of a difference but takes more power
@@david.k1528 I was looking at getting mine mapped by hdi tuning. The guy specialises in the Peugeot Citroën diesel engines. Sadly the ULEZ charge expansion they are saying is coming to the whole of London in 2021 will force me to sell my car 😢

My previous job had a dually HD350 single turbo and I would load up cargo towards the rear and strap it in for weight balance. Tank up on 91 Octane then go tear up the fuckin mountain to make a delivery in Reno from the bay area. Now looking to buy a transit connect and have a rented fiesta sedan

140.. and its a base model modded, no sat nav , reverse cam or decent stereo.. but mine is the 1.6 diesel and its 168bhp.. people are doing these mods and trying to sell them for more than they are worth, with sill kits etc. they do all kits for them on ebay.. and putting 19" wheels on with 40 wall is useless in the real world mines 18 /45 and thats a pain ;) theres loads modified all over the uk i thought this video would be special like the title makes out.. ill have to upload mine at some point :D
p.s the seat is ok but gets hard after a while and im light weight .. the bottom just meh

All sizzle and no steak. It's a pile of plastic Tiger-sealed onto a poverty-spec van. My 2016 Transit Custom has a 5.7-litre V8 under the bonnet. If you're going to trick out a van - make sure that there's actually a point.

Here in America the HP would have to be a lot more, I’d like to that Van making 320hp or so
I see these vans on the road all the time easy to nick too. You have to pay for extra locks. Just do some old skool stuff. I’m sick of seeing reviews on stuff that’s on the road in every day life. New cars have no souls of character like older cars.
I’ve got a mk3 cavalier Sri with Saab turbo conversion running around 350bph maybe more. Just sent gearbox off for a refurb and a lsd fitted. It’s an absolute animal and embarrassed many of the new Audi’s BMW’s fords etc and it’s a genuine Sri. I don’t think Jamie is interested he just like new and shiny.
Pyro Boost my Sri is in fact my very first car from when I passed my test and I still own it. The Saab b204r are good engines and it should have been in a Vauxhall from factory I only get it out on summer.
