In a world where lots of influencers live in an echo-chamber hyping the same high profile products, I love hearing about things which I haven’t heard about before. Thanks for bringing these products to my attention.
Stephanie Marie, I am SO glad you mentioned Persona. This was the best eyeliner I found for my over 70 year old eyes, until.........Doll 10! They sell a 5 pencil and 1 sharpener for $34.00 on HSN. It is as great as Persona and the colors are great: black, browns, deep green and a deep gray. I live in a very humid area and use eye drops throughout the day. Eyeliner does not budge!
Elf concealer brush: I use those tiny brushes to clean up stray nail polish around my nails. I just dip it in some polish remover/acetone and it is great at getting the polish off my skin without ruining my fresh manicure.
The Bobbi Brown corrector is one of my very favorite products, ever. I can't live without it. I can wear it alone, perfect color, so a must have even on very low makeup days. Never ever moves. Brilliant product
Yes! This was fun & I'm so glad that you're calling out these products as it really helps. That foundation looks so good on you. Thank you for being here for me !
Bobbi Brown corrector in a pot has been discontinued. I found out last week. I agree with you Stephanie I love the Bobbi Brown corrector stick. It’s the best!!!
Yes, that About Face foundation is fantastic! On me it actually looks better and better every hour for about the first four hours. That's my go-to everyday foundation, and the EL Double-wear is my holy grail, never fails me full coverage foundation for my longer days.
I use the ELF Concealing Brush as a lip brush, especially when tryuing to use up the rest of my Drunk Elephant Lippe. Glad to know Amazon has a 6 pack.
Thank you for reminding us of these gems! Agree w/ AboutFace! Im 55yo w/ combo oily , tan skin and its the perfect satin formula i prefer. I also buy multiples of the ELF concealer brush. Along with using to spot conceal on face, i use it to apply eyeliner close to my lash line because i have minimal lid space. I brush over my eyeliner pencil and wiggle the brush at the base of lashes. The stiffness is perfect for precision application. I also use the brush for mani/pedi clean up by dipping in nail polish remover. The firm short bristles work perfectly to sharply clean around fingers/toes . I use the BB pot version on my face hyperpigmentation because the dryness adheres better under foundation.
How could I forget to say I use it as a nail clean up brush too? 🤦🏼♀️🤪 It’s so good for that! I use flat brushes for lash lines though! Love this feedback! 💗
Omg so I use that same Elf concealer brush to get to the very bottom of the Bobby Brown color corrector stick. There is actually a lot of product you can get out of that stick when you start digging it out of the plastic tube that holds the stick in place. It's not the cheapest product but it is an amazing product so I make sure none of it goes to waste. That Elf brush is the perfect size for the job.
Thanks for comparing the BB pot vs. corrector stick. I have the pot one and am not crazy about it so now I def want to try the stick. Love to hear about products that are not on every other influencer's videos. TY
I love using the facial smoothies when I have perioral dermatitis around my mouth (from drooling in my sleep). The tape keeps the area dry overnight so it heals faster!
I discovered the derm elect products about two years ago. They’re nail polish and nail health products are excellent, especially if you have then or peeling nails there hand cream, and their foot cream is better than anything I have ever tried. All serum had great ingredients, and the price point is excellent as well thank you for reviewing them.
I forgot about that elf tiny concealer brush and enjoy mine as well. It kind of got hidden behind my other brushes but I’m definitely going to pick up a couple more when I see them.
Great video, thx. Fyi, I. Had a bad experience yesterday with Inn beauty. I’ve had 3 glazes and bronzers and 2 exploded at the seam . I went to look on Sephora reviews and numerous PPLE said same and that tip falls off the first weeks the fact that they dont refund faulty products and don’t want to discuss it with their loyal customers, tells me I’m fine without giving them my money. Thx 💕💕
Love the persona eyeliner. The dark brown one (just called brown) is perfect. Gone through tons of them. Just wish it was an automatic liner type, not one that requires sharpening.
I have really big, dry, old looking man hands 😂😅. I have some sensory issues and i can't handle the feeling of stuff on my hands. I really struggle to not immediately wash off moisturizers. Maybe i should try that one.
My Saie highlighter/glow does not smell. You may want to return or purchase another. I use it as my second fav after the RMS Living Lumizer which is my #1 and I live in the South. Thank you for sharing some products that I might never have known about.
I was excited because they sent a replacement in a PR package maybe a month and a half ago. But it has a scent to it - less of a scent than my old one, but it's still there. 🤔 It could have arrived old I guess. The shelf life is pretty short since there are zero preservatives. I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 🥰
Regarding the ABOUT FACE THE PERFORMER Foundation, I was interested in trying it, but regrettably, on the About Face website, although 45 shades are listed, only 6 are currently available for order.
I’ve heard about Dermelect for years - just wasn’t able to budget for it before and now I’ve finally got tretinoin so I think I’m set! Do really want to try the lip products Inn Beauty has to offer though, they sound great!!❣️👍🎉
One of the things that drew me in was their price point in comparison to some other brands with similar efficacy! I think you get a lot for your money should you decide to add acids to your tret routine! 💗
Wonderful review of your favorites! If you do use a primer with the About Face foundation, which would you recommend? Also, do you have a favorite for a pressed powder to use during the day? I remember when you mentioned Bobbi Brown corrector years ago! I bought it and have not used anything else! Love it! I use concealer on a few spots on my face, but notice when I apply foundation over it, those spots pill! Do you use s dedicated concealer for spot coverage? Thanks again for mentioning these pros! Going to get that hand cream! I adore Penn Smith!!
15:57 MandyLea said on her channel that the smell of the saie reminds her of cat urine 😸 although she still liked the product. So, i had to try it (😂 although the small size) and yes, it has a “no added fragrance” weird ingredient smell to me, but i do like the effect of it as well. 🤷🏻♀️
Hi Stephanie, this was a great video as usual. I purchased the Bobbie Brown corrector after watching one of your previous videos and I agree that this is the best corrector I have used . So glad they are not discontinuing it. The color I chose for my skin tone is so spot on that I sometimes don’t Even use concealer. Thanks again for all of the very useful information that you give us!
Thanks for this fun video! I also have rosacea so i appreciate learning about new products. Have you heard of the new makeup line Pretty Smart? It's by makers of The Balm. I'd love to hear your thoughts/a review. Thanks! ❤
Did they explain why not? I’m really curious. I feel women have been using eyeliner in their waterline since the invention of eyeliner, from the Cleopatra days if not even earlier?
I was in eye care for several years :) Lining the waterline places a foreign layer right over our meibomian glands. These glands produce the oil needed to lubricate the eyeball properly. Repeatedly covering this area can clog these glands, causing them to eventually die off permanently. Clogged and dead glands caused tear film disruption/instability and chronic dry eye, which is a HUGE condition in women over 40. So yes, women have been lining their water lines for years and years. And women over 40 are also the largest demographic with dry eye because our bodies already get drier overall, including our eyes and tear film. Add this factor to it and it increases greatly. Dry eye is why so many women complain of watery and irritated eyes. Many times it's irreversible because the damage has been done since it isn't something you would notice outwardly until your eyes start to water or become itchy/scratchy/uncomfortable over time. OTC eye drops are what we reach for. But they put a bandaid on the problem but don't fix it. I could go on. Can you tell I feel passionately about this? 🤪 I only line my water line on rare special occasions - maybe 3-4x a year.
@@StephanieMarie thank you for answering my question and oh my goodness I definitely won’t be rushing to do that since I already have dry eyes . Thankfully I have not really done it much at all as way,way back in my early twenties I went to a party plan make up event, maybe it was a Mary Kay party? I can’t remember that far back. The woman advised me not to tight line (although I don’t think they called it that back then) as I don’t have the right shaped eyes. After pointing out that I have rather small eyes and that whilst many would say I had almond shaped eyes they would actually one day just end up being hooded eyes and therefore I should get in the habit of doing everything I could to make my eyes look bigger. Sadly she was dead on the money with her hooded eyes prediction 😢 What was the name of the video you did? I would like to watch it

What a brilliant idea! Thanks for sharing 😊
I love the elf concealer brush for cut creases, inner corner shadows, undereye shadow, on top of concealer purposes. It's a great tiny brush.
The Bobbi Brown corrector is one of my very favorite products, ever. I can't live without it. I can wear it alone, perfect color, so a must have even on very low makeup days. Never ever moves. Brilliant product
I love both the corrector and concealer in that formula. So good.

Your videos are the absolute best!
Wow, thank you!
@@StephanieMarieI’m actually a 32 year old man but I still like you and your content
Bobbi Brown corrector is the best!!! Using for years and never disappoints
I use the derma at night. It smells like maple syrup to me 🤷♀️. For like a hot minute…I know, weird, but it works well.
I use the ELF Concealing Brush as a lip brush, especially when tryuing to use up the rest of my Drunk Elephant Lippe. Glad to know Amazon has a 6 pack.
I love the ELF concealing brush! I’m going to try the Bobbi Brown correcting stick. Thanks for mentioning it. 💕🌸
Me too.
😂😂😂 I literally just bought two of those elf concealer brushes yesterday.

Try Laura Gell eyeliners because they go on so smoothly but stsy on for a 12 hour day!! You'll love these!!!
I agree about that Bobbie brown corrector it’s so good.
So happy you’re loving the persona liners. ❤❤
Always!! 🥰
You make the most amazing eyeliners! Hands down!
I finally tried the Bobby Brown corrector, and I'm kicking myself for not getting it sooner for my dry, mature undereyes!
I'm so glad you like it! :)
Best recommendation ever! I can absolutely use it alone as a concealer too on my fair skin tone
Does it grease?
@@monicapatton1405 not on me. I use the bisque shade

I like the Bobbi Brown corrector. I also like the Flower Beauty corrector for under the eyes. It covers well and is the right color for my skin.
I agree with you on the About face foundation. I keep forgetting i have it and its actually a good foundation
I adore the about face Performer foundation !!!
Honesty never heard of Persona. Will give it a whirl.
Persona as a brand is amazing! EyeLiners, blushes, cream and powder are all awesome!
So glad the Bobbi Brown under eye corrector won’t be discontinued. I’m on my fourth tube. Doesn’t make look creasy. Love.
I love the AF performer foundation. It has been my summer go to foundation.
So happy you still love your 24hr Waterproof Eyeliner! 💗✨ love Chocolate on you 😍
I actually LOVE the Saie Starglow Glowy Super Gel. It smells faintly like Roses to me. I like it.

The about face comes in a fair olive as well. It's a great foundation.
I love the Bobbi Brown uner eye corrector. Its all I use!
Love the persona eyeliner. The dark brown one (just called brown) is perfect. Gone through tons of them. Just wish it was an automatic liner type, not one that requires sharpening.
The only problem with them is that they have about half or less of the product
Auto liner pencils do have less product - I guess it’s a trade-off for the convenience? 🤔
Better application with your sponge!!!

My eye doctor said you should never use eyeliner on your waterline. Otherwise I would.

I did a video all about that. A lot of people have liner smudging issues even when they don't line the waterline though :)
