Watching your videos on your FTR journey helped me decide on that being my bike. I bought the 2022 "base" FTR a year ago, slapped a full Toce 2-1 low mount exhaust on it, got the Lloydz tune, bar end mirrors, NRC fender elim & turn signals. I feel the same way with all the electronics, I prefer manual & analog components, and the giant rectangular screen was a dealbreaker for me so I had to go with the base model. I may change my mind one day if they put the cylindrical hud on the FTR like the Chiefs have. But until then, I'll just have to suffer with only knowing how fast I'm going: TOO FAST! lol Thanks for all your content, love your channel and your enthusiasm is contagious.

How’s the heating on ftr compared to Harley?
When I bought my Scout, the dealership had three FTRs. I didn't think much of the design of the FTR, but I should have at least taken one on a test drive. No regrets on my '22 Scout though.
You put the 17" on the 2019 FTR? I heard there was a difference in the ABS tone ring. How did you get around that?
Nope… Plug and play :) It’s the front wheel that has a different ABS mounting
Ughhh i think im going to get the scout but my while life ive ridden sport nakeds (Ducati, Aprilia, Kawasaki). i also ride dirt so googling m researching scramblers i was suggested the FTR, went into Indian dealer to look at the ftr but now I'm thinking Scout? Like maybe it's time to try a different style of bike and chillout a bit. Is it hard to get the power down with fyr i.e are you battling not to xheelie it?
So ... this didn't really help because I love both bikes so ... I'm just gonna have to get both ..... I'm thinking the FTR first then the bobber!!!

I considered the FTR, and if I'd known about the new FTR Sport for 2023 I may have waited and got that instead of my Scout Rogue.
For the 2022 models I thought only the Carbon looked good. But I didn't like the ergonomics or the fuel mileage and that's what pushed me to the Rogue.
ABS and a USB port ... *silence ...

I must say that I have certain dreams about the Scout at the moment - hella fun!!
It absolutely is amazing although I think that the rogue will handle better with the narrow front wheel.
