I agree with what you said about Red Queen and the sequel and the bad writing. I love dystopian fiction but Red Queen just felt like it was trying too hard and I don't really care about superpowers and stuff. Also I didn't care about the love triangle it tried to create. For murder mysteries can I suggest One of us is lying and A Good Girl's guide to murder.
Hello from a new fan! I was wondering if you knew about the Ewilan trilogies by Pierre Bottero? The original trilogy (The Quest of Ewilan) is more... Childish? I read it in middle school so I loved it but it's a bit naive, but the sequel is far more serious, anyway I'll look it up to see if it's been translated but I think you'd like it :) Have a nice day!
Yesterday I was on Luckie's live stream on TikTok when she talked about the mortal instruments a bit... I have only watched the show so I don't know much, but... I still liked that there was some lgbtq+ stuff in it. I was the one who asked her about Malec 'cause I'm lonely and I have no one to talk to about books.
