Hey Jonathon! Galveston county Texas here...going to be anxiously watching the progression of this soon to be storm or hurricane. Still very nervous after Beryl and praying for all of us in the Gulf and surrounding areas. Thank you for the update and keeping it real without all the hype!😊🤩
@@kellyw.1779 you’re very welcome! Thanks for tuning in again! Even if it goes west I’m thinking it bends before you. Not set in stone but it’s getting to be that time of year where it’s hard to send a storm into to Texas. Not impossible of course if though. Thinking of you guys! - Jonathan

Hi Jonathan, just discovered your channel and it is so refreshing to hear your reasoning behind it. Thank you for bringing the real weather stories! I'm in Australia and I wish we had a channel like yours down here! The way our weather is hyped here in mainstream is pretty spectacular, fortunately I know the right places to look for our weather information, but unfortunately, most don't. It has been fascinating to watch following your lead up to Helene and now currently Milton. Fortunately, we don't get hurricanes down here but as I'm sure you know we get the cyclones and other bizarre weather. I'm currently in Tasmania, so we also get the roaring 40's from Antarctica. We've just suffered though some pretty unseasonable weather due to the effects of August's polar stratospheric warming. In saying that, the entire globe has been feeling effects of unseasonably extreme weather events. Anyway, cheers from Down Under 🤙
Oh my gosh, this is what I was talking about when I was on another platform. Jonathan explained exactly why the models showing certain tracks and the scenario of each track. We got to protect Jonathan from trolls in the comments, this is the information that is well needed and appreciated
From Western NC. Love your breakdown of the weather patterns. I have relatives in NJ and South Central Fl so this information is really helpful Jonathan.
Hello! I just found your channel and I’m impressed. I live in east metro Atlanta GA and have been an avid weather enthusiast for 50+ years. The “no fluff” approach is so welcomed and I look forward to following your future discussions. Our stagnant pattern here has resulted in extremely dry conditions for the eastern metro area. Unfortunately, it appears it will take a tropical system nearby to get some much needed rain. Thank you Sir & keep up the great work!

I just came across your channel, and im glad. You are correct about other channels on here. Ive been so stressed out listening to them. 1st they tell us e we're going to have the worst hurricane season ever this year. Then when as the waves come off the coast of Africa still half way across the ocean , they start telling you how strong they are getting each day, and then when they are about 3 days away from the states ,they start telling you it could build up to a cat 3 or 4 major hurricane. I get horribly scared of hurricanes now , because hurricane laura destroyed my home in 2020, and i am an elderly widow whom lives alone in a rural area and need time to get out of this mobile home to a safe place. So they get me all nervous ,about to have a stroke, and then last minute say its just going to be a strong storm , or heading a different direction. So far we have not had any major hurricanes this year in my state, so that even makes my anxiety worse because they keep saying it could be soon. I wish they would just stop guessing and wait till they get close and know exactly where they are going.
