A great tip for having random polygroups without overlapping varieties of nanomeshes is to go to Polygroups -> GroupVisible -> Coverage (lower from 1 to get a random sampling of polygroups) then in ZModelers's Nanomesh set selection to Polygroup All to create different nanomeshes in the different polygroups.

this fast speaking is ULTRA annoying.

Thank you sir, for keeping it so short and efficient! this is the most informative 6.5mins of my life! A lot of nanomesh features covered!

Thanks this is a great tutorial as usual. I will try to do some stylized hairs with nanomesh as a base mesh instead of placeing every single hairstring by hand.

Not for nothing, but have you considered doing content on how your throughput generating content and courses are so breathtakingly enormous?
I'm scratching my head and I can't figure it out. There's only 24 hours in your day too, right?
I'm being totally serious. You may not think you have anything to share with your production of content, but I for one would watch that process or structuring.

what is even more impressive is that he can actually remember where exactly he has published a related content and refer it from his current video! Given the amount of content he has created it boggles my mind that he can keep track of all this stuff!

@@sank8884, agreed. I had a similar memory once. I used to be able to recall virtually everything I heard, especially with women given they tended to hold my attention well. Then I got married had two kids and had a now ex-wife that while I was sleeping woukd hold my nose and mouth so I thought I had sleep apnea...it's amazing how that cleared up a month after I got separated after 14 years of marriage.
You'd be surprised how working as a civilian medic working varying shifts with kids and the _suffocator_ can damage yo brain over a decade. I was married for 14 years because I was there to mentor the kids, nothing more after about 4 years in...
I think part of his formula for success is staying single even if he's in a relationship... maybe it's all down to how you handle your scorpion, or never being the frog?
This is mostly satire, but everything I said is also true. So sry for the weird, but you caught me at a moment in the day I'm appreciating being quarantined, alone, with my computers, my solar panels and my airconditioning. Seriously, with good food, it's enough for a man that thinks...
      Enjoy, and stay safe.

I'm curious if you take an imm with many parts if all those parts will carry over to nano and be randomly distributed?

Mr. Pavlovich! Nanomesh question for you. How can I set the pivot point of a nanomesh instance? For example, I have a fern bush I'm making and I want the leaves to spawn along the stem from the base of the leaf. I can't seem to get it working. These videos are really informative, by the way!

Can you interactively paint with a NanoMesh brush on the surface of a model, rather that apply it to a selection of polygons?

you can interactively paint a selection of polygons that your nanomesh is associated with?

Hmm I wasn't aware of that double window thing. So Zbrush could have two cameras in theory

Is there a way to add a nanomesh on every X quads? I want to spread the grid out more so that they're not on every quad but cant find a way

    • @MichaelPavlovich
      @MichaelPavlovich  2 ปีที่แล้ว

You can manually alt paint the faces with zmodeler to dictate exactly what quad your nanomesh goes on (then insert nanomesh with polygroup all, not all polygons). Might be tedious depending on your model, but total control. If you're just looking for an "every other one" option, you can use Polygroup > Checker th-cam.com/video/XcR5TzvIaoc/w-d-xo.html

Is there a way to finalize the NanoMesh to make it permanent so you can print it out?
