I've been a huge fan of Scott, and Roland, for a long time, and now, get to know Matt, and Canterbury, it's awesome. Great, honest insight into the business of Tournament Bass Fishing... ya'll are friends, Fishin' Buddies... that's a bond that people who've never spent HOURS in a small space with someone you can not push overboard, is rare! Thanks for a chance to hear three guys that are role models, or should be considered as that...
Fujita can keep his bait suspended for so much longer. This Toledo bend footage you can see his crazy short 16lb leader. The braid already wants to float, then the heavy leader that may be 8-10 inches doesn’t sink fast. He keeps the bait hanging longer and then he works it rod tip down.
Welcome back!!! So amazing watching three good friends (and world class pro fishermen) talking shop. I said it last year and repeat now. These are the best fishing videos anywhere! Thank you for sharing your friendship with us. Stay safe and catch record breaking numbers. God Bless!
scott c told me about all of his problems with his truck and phone on day 2 with him sucks to hear that, praying he has no more problems the rest of the season!
Good luck this year guys! We actually have ocellated turkeys here in Belize and I’ve been working for years on getting the permits for hunting them. I’d love to take you guys fishing at our place here one day Crystal Creek Lodge Bz
He knows how to play his fish correctly. When i hear the drag on some of the spinning reels you guys are using it reminds me of the amount of drag i used when using 8oz breaking strain line for heavily pressured seatrout here in Scotland as a kid. We used size 26 hooks. When using smaller lures and smaller hooks you don't need the crazy muscle you put into setting the hook on the bigger stuff you guys sometimes use, i bet he is using smaller sharper hooks than most. You all need to sharpen up your light line techniques, even 4lb line you can put crazy amounts of pressure on a fish, especially from a boat.
Gonna come up with a thin floating case for Canterbury and guys like us that need durable and floatable protection for our phones. 👍😆 Sorry about your luck Man! Appreciate you all doing these!
Bob's Machine Shop in Tampa FL has a low water nose cone for outboards. I have one on my 225 Merc, it works really well on full trim jacked plate. Just a suggestion. Love ya'll ❤
I really enjoy listening to yall BS like this about the tourneys. This is peak content for a guy like me who loves bass fishing. I know yall are busy all the time but this is good content. Im gonna take a wild guess and say Trey Mckinney is gonna win fork scoping with 130lbs 15ounces. Just a wild guess
I picked up on some of the ffs stuff that I knew but needed confirmed. I still would have a lot of questions I would like to ask but anyway thanks for info! Congratulations to Scott on the open win!
Fujita’s spinning reel casting and bait presentation with FFS is second to none right now ! You can watch other scopers near him and they cant present the bait like he does !
@@mattressesunderwater The heavy line and short leader was so he could get big fish in quickly without breaking off . He used 5 lb test at Seminole . He changes things up for conditions . Winning several AOY’s in highly competitive and pressured lakes in Japan set him up for early success over here !
I got my hands on jackall drift fry 3.0 & 4.0 right after champlain last year..This year every japan dealer will only sell 1 pack per color..its gotten crazy...
I have to admit after Matt caught a few monster crappie, he said I could probably catch 12 lbs of crappie and I smiled, he said at this point I wished I had a cooler on the boat to toss these in for dinner tonight.
Scott, I watched your bass after Dark podcast. I know you guys have talks. How do you feel about an Elite Tournament without FFS. NOT A BAN. Just a tournament without FFS. . Even playing field.
Yall need to research Japan bass fishing and y’all will understand why they are more technically sound anglers. They say Lake Biwa is the most pressured and the hardest fishery in the world. So they have to be innovative or they ain’t catching fish. They are way ahead of us in the world of bass fishing!! I get all my jdm stuff from a shop here in the u.s that specialized in all jdm baits and tackle!
I think sent is the main thing and this is y Berkeley I feel is head over shoulders over everyone else there sent between power bait and maxcent is incredible now there infusing jig and spinner bait skirts I feel this changed everyone’s perspective on making baits
I saw Scott on one of his videos diving into the lake and save😅his i phone dunked his air pods in the process he was shaking the water out of them as well 🤷🏻♂️
Would love to have seen what would have happened without periscope when everybody would have had to really on there tricks and knowledge now that would be a real tournament and you would see who the best anglers are
How youll feel now knowing a 19 yr old kid who had his mom carry his bag off the boat on day 1 and win with 130lbs all the years of bass knowledge and this kid said fuck that im winning and i dont need 20 yrs on the water to do it shits pretty insane and the rookies this year are hammers its time to move out the way or get with the program cause this sport is changing rapidly and technology and AI Is helping people make leaps and bounds in short periods of time and dont worry about kyoya ive seen him choke more than hes won and he didnt have shit for them boys on fork he did alright but nothing special he just happened to he in the middle of the highway at toledo it wasnt the bait he does u the drifty fry it has a similar action to a scrounger and rod down small twitches while reeling real slow or he deadsticks on the bottom till they pick it up hes good but there all good this year he hasnt separated himself from the rest yet
So glad this is back, please do them every tournament

Love the podcast. Would love to see Ben Milliken on one day as a guest. Best of luck this season Scott!
I'm sorry I just don't get the milliken man bun crush...Anyone can buy subscribers..
@@inaslump Well I hate it but there not bought.
@@RustyWells2 Why don't his videos rarely get over 50k views if he has over 500k followers??
scott c told me about all of his problems with his truck and phone on day 2 with him
sucks to hear that,
praying he has no more problems the rest of the season!
Glad you started the podcast back up
👊🏼👊🏼 more to come
Hey Scott I am happy you and Matt and Scott or doing podcast again
Take your boat to Bob's Machine and have a low water pickup installed. They work great !!
Good to see you guys!
Great channel. Good luck to all three of you fellas this year.hope to see you at the classic.
Scott is sticking with the diet. That’s awesome. That takes willpower
Love these breakdowns! Learn a lot from them and great entertainment!
Loving this ‘After The Catch’ podcast
Great insight about the pressured fish and no place to hide
Geecrack Bellows Shad and Bellows Gill are 2 ones to try... Weightless or as jig trailers once they get a bit torn up. Great baits!!!!
Good deal glad to see the mscotts back
Scott check out this low water pickup. This thing is amazing. It’s exactly like what you were talking about wanting on the show just now.
My three favorite BASS Pros. All in one, gang ; )

Hollywood put the trails on the Garmin settings you will see what way the fishing is moving. May get you an extra bite.

Handicap scope 👌
He keeps his bait suspended longer with a very short leader and heavier line.

Sorry if I’m repetitive but any chance you can upload on Spotify as well? Would love to be able to throw this on in the sauna

Great info
@Arey Martin and Canterbury, Matt mentioned Direct messaging yall, where do we send our direct messages to
These need to drop before the tournaments if at all possible.
The hookup tackle has all the jdm baits you need
A lot of times the ones you want are out of stock
Hey Scott and Matt I wish y’all would go live so we could chat with yall on the pod cast
I've often wondered as often as you guys talk during practice why don't you use earbuds
Scott, I watched your bass after Dark podcast. I know you guys have talks. How do you feel about an Elite Tournament without FFS. NOT A BAN. Just a tournament without FFS. . Even playing field.
I need one of those caps Scott... Good lookin' lid bro..
We will have some on the website soon!
Congratulations n the 80lbs in Florida

Scott, first day of practice 2 fish but 1 bass. Other was a white.
I'm going out on a limb and saying trey Mckinney wins and whole top 10 get belts

Ebay for drift fry, they have tons for cheap
Need to get you a rogue tether
Yea
Ask Keith Poche about the low water intake/pickup.
I saw Scott on one of his videos diving into the lake and save😅his i phone dunked his air pods in the process he was shaking the water out of them as well 🤷🏻♂️
K Fujita is a 9 time AOY in Japan winning his first at 14 years old
Last ace 168 ... your welcome
Guys. If you on Toledo. If you are not in the marked boat lanes you better not be on plane. It’s all stumps. Trust me I have seen all lake levels.
Good to hear from you all again… stop driving GM/Cheapolet and you won’t break down. Ram and Toyota leading the charge! 👊
Keith poche has a low water pick up on his boat
Would love to have seen what would have happened without periscope when everybody would have had to really on there tricks and knowledge now that would be a real tournament and you would see who the best anglers are
Crappie Anglers have been putting blueberry scent on baits for 40 years
Im still waiting for something that charges your boat while you are trailering it...
Very doable, would work the same as an Rv works.
Why the headphones if you're next to each other
I think it makes us look official lol..😂
That way they can hear if they are talking into the mic or not. Kind of the same thing as monitor speakers on a concert stage.
Hey
I kayak fish fell out of my kayak taking a piss my phone was tethered to me phone was soaked still works today iPhone 14 Pro Max
Y’all should make more vids I be waiting on y’all to post I love the channel but try to post more often
Shouldn't that bass be sitting in front of Matt ? 😅
Think he is using
20-30 lb 8 strand braid
10-12 lb fluro leader
Daiwa steez rod and reel
Jackall driftfry
Jig head he's using isn't on the market
I know all your fishing tricks
$500 fine for littering per phone. Make checks payable to me
Do these guys really not know all these baits are available to anyone via the internet?
The Japanese anglers are somethin else. The old time BASS anglers need to catch up or no american is goin to win ever again.
You need to give your views on FFS on at least one Podcast. Many other You Tube fishing channels have spoken about it.
Scott did on podcast “ Bass After Dark “!
