Poker works like this you run hot and cold sometimes as long as you have a very good understanding of the game and catch the right cards with the right bets you win. Sometimes you play perfect and get sucked out on constantly.
Love reading the comments saying that she's not that good. Are you not paying attention to the times she bluffed other players off who had better hands? If you think she's not good, you're the fish that she's going to reel in next. "Oh man... I saw that video of her. I'm totally going to get all of her chips." Right, dude. My favorite move was when she offered to show her cards if they gave the dealer $25. Class move.
@@camela9627 I've seen people pay others off to see their cards, but this was a chill move. And you could tell that the guy was inwardly steaming when he got to see her cards.
@@ianmaxson6852 I think there are definitely guys who are underestimating her because she's a woman. @@raymondc8697 Yeah she showed strength though, way too much. Made him insta fold. I think she lost 17k because of that, I think he wouldve called if she didnt say anything.
It's funny how many people commenting on here (who probably can't beat 0.01/0.002) criticise her play. She outplays loads of very strong players here at the Lodge.
She had a sun run of a lifetime, that ace 5 hand was pretty sick. I mean she called a 4 bet with A5 then hits 2 pair on the River, if that 5 doesn’t come she would never have called his all in shove.
What I find strange? Is that no one thought maybe she gave an intentional hint, to just how strong she was. She was already a big winner. And about to be an even bigger one. She hit a slim out on the river. Myself, I think she gave him a chance to get away from it, albeit VERY subtlety. She did what she HAD to do, which was to shove. And if he didn't pick up on that? His fault. She'd proven her chops. She proven willing to shove, and go for all his chips. She's just too damn good, not to have known he MIGHT just pick up on that neon tell. Just my opinion. No way in hell she should EVER confirm jack, one way or the other. Great session.
I'm not sure about this poker players don't think about this at the table so often even if they're playing friends who are short on money... Just at work trying to win the most. I have the feeling that she felt like he was going to fold what he had and was trying anything to get a call from him... So even if it looks strong trying some reverse psychology as she felt he would fold Anyway, but yea it expedited his process for sure this time :)Just my opinion also though :))
I think with her pair of Queens she should have bet half of her stack instead of ALL in. Then that dude will most likely have called "All-in" on her. And then BOOM!!! She knocks his ass out, but regardless, she's an elite player for sure.
Same. While the 5-10-20 was still running every Friday @ LC (early '21), she was the biggest station in that game. She was fun to battle, usually hero calling off / getting it in bad :)

Paired board means he loses to a few pocket pairs , plus she chimed into a conversation when he was making a decision for all of his chips which shows insane confidence in her hand. So board texture and a live read. Totally agree that it was a fantastic fold

She would've got 17k more if she just kept her mouth shut and held still... pretended she was tense. Real hollywood. And if she was bluffing, then she should've started chatting.
Wonder what her past is. Might be an interesting story. A lot of former athletes that get hurt end up in poker due to their competitive nature. Just because she's tall and not scrawny, coaches probably tried to pull her in to sports. Wonder if she ever played something then it went south and led her to poker for the competition outlet. Or maybe just a girl not afraid to mix it up with the boys. Good for her. Women can kick ass or be a donk whale just like anyone else, so let's get them in the mix! More players in the pool is good.
