THE FACT THAT YOU ARE USING THE BRUSH YOU ARE USING ON HER HAIR PROVES THAT YOU AT LEAST TRIED TO DO SOME RESEARCH BEFORE DOING HER HAIR WHICH MAKES ME SO HAPPY 😭💖
Yes I was hoping she would do two puffs and be done with it and I'm glad she did. Our hair can be challenging and it takes time and patience to learn how to style afro hair.
And to try do it to a loose head, takes talent even with straight hair 😮
@@Sad_Soul101emphasis on this! Thats a beauty school head
thank you so much! I really tried to do my best ❤️
right I noticed that as well
As a black woman I think you did a respectfully great job on her. You can't help the mold they used to make her - that before was a bit scary lol.
Jajajaj definitivamente mejoró😍 demasiado aunque su boca sigue siendo un poco extraña 😭
They shipped her looking like a Roger persona from American Dad. SMH!
You're right, it's almost as if they just used the white doll mold, and poured in more pigment when they did the skin paint? Guess that's just them cutting costs as I guess they didn't want to pay to make a different mold.
it doesn't look like a white doll sculpt either, the eyes look a little asian but mostly it looks like a alien sculpt, whoever designed this sculpt should just work in a different job, maybe as a bin man or something becuase he's no artist.
Yes. I was trying to figure out the correct way to say this. She should have different facial features. Unique to the race. Everyone is beautiful. The mouth is the worst.
@@twistedtypos2029, YES! That mouth was awful. It didn't look right. Not it didn't look right for a black sculpt, it just didn't look right.
The eyebrows where really bad.. The whole face was not symmetrical. That's why it had creepy vibes 😳.. Thanks for giving her a makeover ❤️🙏
I had my doubts that you could make that weird looking head into something cute but I must say that I am impressed. Well done!
Her eyes are still creepy to me. But it’s not your fault Marina. It’s just the sculpt. As someone else said, she needs some edges to finish her hair.
She is such an artist. She will still prevail on beauty.
I agree, she is still weird looking. I know it's not Marina's fault, but the face mold is weird.
Ye it’s because of the eye shape itself.. and her mouth too. It’s not Marinas awesome work.. it’s the doll 😂
I agree, it's the eyes. After she removed the makeup, and I saw the sculpt, I was hoping she would sand down that area smooth so she could put the eyes in a better position. The head still looks loads better with just the recoloring.
you cannot really sand it because it's like a layer of soft touch silicone applied on top of a plastic base, so if you start changing anything, you will just make a hole in her skin and see what is underneath...
When I went to hairdressing school in 1989, we had mannequins with this exact face mold to work on. They don't have realistic features and I am totally surprised with her transformation. I really thought you would pull out your clay and fix them eyes but you made them without mods to look so good. A true artist , amazing
I thought so too. lol. I thought she was gonna go full “plastic” surgery and give her some new features and everything 😂 but this was still beautiful work! Per usual of course
They make these hair decorating heads so weird looking. You improved it by 100%.
I would say for her hair if you wet it and put conditioner or mousse in it and put hard curlers in her hair and let it dry, it would have been more curly. I also think you needed more bronzer on her forehead because her forehead looks more more prominent. Other than that great job
aha, thank you! I still need more practice working on hair that is different than my own🙈
Whomever designed that styling head did it very dirty!!! wow., just wow.
But without the original paint, the sculpt (from the front) looks very egyptian glyphs, very picturesque
Your results: 😘 she became Darling!
I thought she looked very Egyptian too, especially after the makeover. Very beautiful people, very beautiful doll.
So, very beautiful, the head mold is giving blasian... Thanks for having the confidence in making this wonderful lady over...
It definitely is giving more northern-east African so you not wrong about the blasian part! But the mold is very horrifying regardless of ethnicity because it just is molded horribly 😂
She’s cute! You should have drawn on some baby hairs she need some edges lol
While I do believe the person who designed this head should get another job because this was horrible, I do appreciate that you tried. The transformation was nothing short of phenomenal. As a black woman, I thank you for adding a little diversity to your videos. I hope to see more darker skin toned dolls on your channel. Ones that have afros and African features. I would love to see you do a black fairy doll, like the ones i seen on ig. They're AI, but I think you could recreate one with ease. ❤
She turned out pretty. For this texture and length of hair, I would recommend wetting the hair with a spray bottle, It'll be smoother and easier to manage.
I'm so glad you stuck with brown eyes! They have such depth and warmth. And you did a remarkable job with a difficult sculpt.
Very excited to watch. I love when you work with more diverse skin tones 🩷
I say for what you had to work w/ you really did a nice job w/ her hair. Black hair is a skill to be able to handle. So the puffs were an easy go to style for her. Also her features arent typical for black women, but again for what you had to work w/ its pretty nice. The fact that you did it to keep inclusive issues appreciated. It just will take practice is all. 😁 🙌🏾👍🏾👏🏾
Alien looking sculpt- what were they thinking!?? Thank goodness you transformed her!
THIS was a definite transformation!!!
Not sure what "they" were thinking when they made this one but you brought her to life and she is beautiful!!
In the future, if you get one with longer hair, you could do some really intricate braids!
Please, make series where you remake MH characters to make them creepy monsters! Like making Draculaura a scary vampire, Spectra a spooky ghost etc. And also refreshing their clothing. I think it would be super cool!!🖤🤟🏻
I totally agree 💯 that would be very COOL! 🎉❤
that's a good idea by the way, thank you!
Wow that original sculpt is just terrible!!!! I can't believe the miracle you worked with her!!!!!! She looks so cute!!!!!
I was rooting for space buns/pouffs! I think it’s the most adorable style for natural hair. And then you did it :) She looks so cute now and not staring crazy, lol
Oh, I think you improved her appearance greatly. She looked very angry before, and now she doesn’t. Something about the eyelashes really brought her face to life. I could see at the beginning that if it just looked like her eyes were slanted upwards she would be so much prettier, and that’s what you did. Very impressive.
I would've liked to see fuller lips, more eyeshadow and blush and darker eyebrows. :)
What ever company molded this should be ashamed. You still made it wonderful. As always.😊
Lovely! You saved that very odd sculpt, that very flat paint job, and gave her life. I am always amazed at how your contouring transforms a doll. Even those weird eyes look natural.
You're not wrong about the uncanny valley of that face/head in its initial state. I agree that it's the way the eyes are sunken in and shaped. Big grey alien energy! 👽
Given the weird face mold you had to work with, I think you did an amazing job! Those eyelashes made such a huge difference!
My favorite big face I've seen you do because of the unique face scuplt, darker skin tone and eyes and the real human hair.
Wowza she came out great.
Also I think pale green eyes would have looked awesome too!
You made her look beautiful! Her skin tone looks so real and her eyes are stunning.
Gorgeous job giving this mannequin a makeover, she looks like Amanda the adventurer.
The best, most realistic eyes of all the doll artists
With this head sculpt i couldn't imagine you would do something that cute looking but wow i really like her! ❤️❤️❤️
She is cute. That is a vast improvement on the eyes.
It's incredible what a difference some falsies and gloss make!
You always build up so much dimension in the eyes and skin. She looks glowing.
I love that you were willing to work with something (the hair) that you weren't use to! The only thing I would say is that when working with. I would say that with curly hair you need to work with it while wet. Also bring the highlight down to the neck as well.
These cosmetology manikin head repaint videos are some of my most favorite as I was in cosmetology school and was always fascinated by these giant doll heads and loved working on them. Honestly it was like I was playing with dolls all day and I learned how to do hair and makeup in the process ❤
I always have to tell myself to trust the process when you are blushing.
I have skipped a few of your videos and was glad to see this large head makeover again. I am always amazed how you can take these odd sculpts and make beautiful faces from them. I’m also glad you didn’t pile on the red tones as some do for dark skin. She came out gorgeous.
I’ve been waiting for so long for you to finally make a black doll. Can’t wait to see the finished project! You are awesome ❤
Stunning nothing short of a miracle. This beg doll head looks like Jada Pinkett Smith now! Astonishing! Brava!❤
I think there is a niche in the market for a realistic ethnic black lady styling head!
That mannequin looks like a south Asian black girl. She's absolutely beautiful in the after pictures. I also think you should give her a roller set or perm set to bring out them cute curls
Wonderful job! I love the beautiful chocolate color of her eyes. I do agree with others that it doesn’t look like they tried to use an actual mold of a black person though. I would love to see you paint a face on a “model” that had the fuller features of a black person. They have such gorgeous lips and bone structure.
Yeah. She does look a bit like Simone. She looks very real in the last photo ❤❤❤❤❤❤
She turned out so nicely. Good job.🤎🤎🤎 You are the queen of doing eyes.
SHE LOOKS STUNNING 🖤🖤🖤
She’s lovely and her skin is glowing!
I LOVE the way you paint eyes and style hair!
You ate with this one. What an improvement!
I think this is the first time the face looked less creepy with the face wiped off. Can’t wait to see the results
I think you draw beautiful eyebrows but I always feel you make them to light. Especially when they have dark hair ❤
I always love the big doll heads!!
would have been fun to add and sculpt it and make a more realistic representation
if you did up making her eyes blue she would have looked like Storm from the X-men, especially with that peculiar eye shape. You did a fantastic job as always!
It was an excellent result with what you had to work with. Yes, I also get Simone vibes from her.
your videos are therapy!! my brain can unplug and just enjoy the art
As someone who has worked with African American hair, it is definitely a challenge. I made friends with some, and got the privilege of helping to do their hair, asking questions, and genuinely being interested in being a hairstylist. I even got to help with cutting their hair. It was a great learning experience
You always do a beautiful job with your face ups 😊 Thank you for doing brown eyes. As a brown eyed girlie, I love my eye color and always get compliments on how pretty they are. Brown eyes can be captivating too
“I bought this beautiful black lady..”😂😂😂
Almost as good as “I will remove her face with acetone…”
oh you turned her from super scary to super cute so well!!!
Very good job! I agree about face mold, but final effects are great any way 😊
Thank you sooooo much for this!! I think people get intimidated by our culture. Good on you for jumping right in.
Plz make a doll like Aiswarya Rai !!! She is a bollywood superstar, also in Hollywood too , she is miss world... Plz 🙏 make Aiswarya Rai doll
Yes! She is a queen. Devdas was my first intro into movies from India and I fell in love with her. She is gorgeous with the best smile.
Once again you are just every now and then going into the eyebrows, and somehow by the end they’re done. I think it’s whenever you see yourself using a color that you think might look nice there or something. It just cracks me up.
You did a fabulous job ☺️ she could do with some edges to finish off the look. But when I saw the before I couldn't imagine her coming out so good
You made her look so much better 🥰
That is a funky sculpt for sure. You definitely made serious improvements!
I think the big head repaints are my favorites! Having so much space to work with always ends up with fun results. I would love to see you do some fun colorful makeup on a doll like that
At first, I was like, “Aww! The sculpt doesn’t look too bad,” until you showed a closeup of the face. My goodness the eyes and lips looked really weird before, but you did an amazing job as always with her glow up!
❤ she’s stunning! I wish I could splurge and buy her for myself. I want to play with her hair 🥲
Your comment made me reflect: I wish I knew these hairdresser's practise heads were a thing when I had my children. Would have been far better than the standard Barbie head my older one was given - nobody has hair like that 😕 Wouldn't just have been good for the kids to practise on - I could have learnt more about how to style my older kid's hair better (as opposed to doing my own with no clear view of...the outcome 😂). My adult child got the wild red Scots curls from me. Lots of knotting and frizz. I suppose they're actually quite expensive, though?
@@dontbefatuousjeffrey2494 Well, nowadays, you can find them fairly cheaply online and at beauty supply stores. But I’ve never purchased one because the faces freak me out! But it would be nice to have one that was actually pretty. They make them without faces painted on but I still find them unattractive and spooky.
Okay, I'm sorry, but this has to be the most unintentionally terrifying mold I've ever seen used on this channel. You still did your best considering what you had to work with though! I would be very interesting in seeing you work with a good black person mold though!
I think you did amazingly well considering what you had to work with! That eye sculpt was just so strange! The most stunning skin/eye color combination I have ever seen in real life was medium-dark skin with hazel eyes. I've only seen it once, but it absolutely took my breath away!
She looks real and beautiful 😻❤️ amazing
The face sculp of this doll head is giving me AI art uncanny valley vibes. You really tried to work with the sculp well done for the effort.
IVE ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE YOU DO A MANNEQUIN HEAD!! i used to be in cosmetology school and those always freaked me out so much ahaha- you made her so beautiful!🥰
I was totally seeing Simone Biles as you were putting her hair up! You did an incredible job bringing her to life.
She looks real and beautiful amazing
super stunning and so glamourous!!
I really enjoy when you work on the larger heads. The details of the eyes is so lifelike. ❤
EXCELLENT JOBBB!!!!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉 You did a very respectable job on her hair and I love what you were able to achieve with her eyes!! I'm actually proud of you! Lol
This is a scary face mould in any colour, I don't know who approved it. But you turned it around and made it very real and much less weird looking. The 'before' truly gives me the heebie jeebies. I love watching challenges like this.
Would love to see more celebrity dolls! Someone like Chappel Roan or Sabrina Carpenter, feel like they’d make amazing dolls in your style!! ❤
Beautifully done
I😊 think I'm going to like this one. I've enjoyed you other one like this. Give her lady locs. 😊
Have you thought about adding sculpting to these heads? That would be an interesting addition, you’ve done such a great job with your precious sculpting 🙂
She turned out really pretty, I was thinking the same thing if her features were more promanent she would of looked perfect. 💞🇦🇺
Maybe some big golden earrings on her! 💯🥰👍🏼
With such an odd mold, You really did an awesome job of making her face pretty. The eyebrows could stand to be darker. Using a spray bottle of water mixed with some S-Curl spray would've helped the dryness of the hair and possibly produce some ringlets. The hairline could use some baby hairs. I think a little research on how we style our hair would've helped.
I truly enjoy all of your videos. Please repaint a Shirley Temple doll.
You did a beautiful job! She's gorgeous!!! ❤
That mold definitely doesn't have black facial features. You did a great job with what you had. For future heads, I suggest looking up black hair styling videos. There are a ton of them out there and they will give you some ideas about more styling options.
Omg she is so pretty.
Bless you sweet lady! The highlight of my Fridays! The very first video of yours I watched was for a large mannequin head so I’m thrilled today!
Wow! When I saw what you had to work with I was stunned. That was just a Caucasian head model, with alien eyes, African hair and simply painted a deep brown so they could call it ‘black’. The only things about it that could be considered such, are the color and the hair, which is real human hair. Not surprising since it is simply a training head for hairdressers! I started to call the eyes Asian, but they were much too weird and not sculpted right for that determination.
Having given my reasons for my revulsion of this mold and disdain at those who created and approved this mess, I have to say you did a fabulous job with her, not that I had any doubts of that. Her eyes look so much better, but they are still alien which is no fault of yours at all! The color is beautiful though I agree a little more bronzer on the forehead and highlights carried to the neck. Her hair is cute and is likely a wise choice since you confess you know nothing about African hair. Nor do I, being white myself so I commend you for your bravery in tackling it.
You did a splendid job with this lady! She’s beautiful!
Such an improvement on the original paint. She came out really nice. You did a great job.
I love that you kept her hair as is.
Wish you had done more with her hair. Would have loved to have seen some tiny braids with gold ring accessories
Truly fabulous work, such an improvement!
you did this beautifully❤
She looks beautiful you did amazing ❤
