You should definitely do more sculpting hair in future custom doll videos. The technique you used to sculpt and paint Poppy Purrington's hair is CHIC and FABULOUS! ❤🐈⬛💜🖤🤩
My opinion is that this is a better option for her hair than rerooting or making a wig.

@@HeyitsBri_actually i think we (the people who fully experienced the g1 mh dolls) only think that g3 sucks cause it isn't nostalgic to us. g1 dolls are associated (for most people) with childhood and the wonder of seeing such unique dolls for the first time. if you really think about g3 dolls as a new brand (which they are to me) without comparing them to g1,they actually aren't bad at all (well,most of them). just imagine if you were a kid and g1 never existed,i bet you would be just as obsessed with the new generation

I know the look doesn’t call for red bottoms, but a hextian doll with no red bottoms just doesn’t feel right lol she’s gorgeous 😍

She is absolutely adorable! Just a suggestion since you’re making such small pieces. Why not try fray check to seal the ends of the fabric. For me it makes it so much easier to work with.
Yes, or melt the edges if poly. You can also run a tight zigzag stitch over the edge to mimic a serger

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only older MH fan who PREFERS G3 to G1 (and I still own a ton of G1 dolls), so it's so nice to see someone appreciate them and work with them. Their molds are everything.

I absolutely adore Poppy! She looks so delicate and just beautiful! Catty has always been a favorite doll of mine, so I obviously had to buy a used one years ago. She's stunning, but sadly has a bald patch. I haven't bought any gen 3 dolls, but seeing Catty here is going to make my wallet cry!

I was recently gifted a Catty Noir doll and she means the WORLD to me. I love that her figure is so full. It’s so much closer to how actual women look and I was so delighted to find a doll that did a better job of representing me. I love your design for Poppy! The only thing I might change is that the dress is so pouffy that it hides her beautiful figure. Still though Poppy is gorgeous and you did an amazing job!

If possible, Poppy should be like a cat witch in training because of the sparkles on her fur and her being a black cat, but she hides her occupation as a witch when around other animals or humans!

As a lifetime Monster High fan, I was never too fond of the G3 dolls. But seeing Catty Noir as a G3 was such a delightful surprise. I really love how glam she is, even after her hair is removed.
my instinctual reaction to this design is to want to give her a lil kiss on the cheek, i love the eye highlights!
Any time anyone makes anthro/humanoid animal dolls I FREAK OUT I love them so much, super underrated theme for a doll, also as a lifelong Tom & Jerry fan, she is GORGEOUS, she totally fits the aesthetic of the female cat designs ❤❤❤

Oh she is PRECIOUS, absolutely adore her. The huge starry eyeshines paired with the sparkle in her skin is so good, and the clothes turned out wonderful! I won't lie it feels strange seeing a doll of yours without the red sole on the heels, but the lavender and pink is perfect as it is.
