Why I Use Sepctra Braids
I prefer Spectra braid because it’s strong, lightweight, and much more flexible than the standard Dyneema braid that comes with the kit. Spectra allows for smoother adjustments and reduces drag, which is crucial for both lighter winds and competitive performance.
Key Differences Between A+ and B Rig Setups
The A+ rig focuses on flexibility and lightness for lighter winds. I use lighter braids like 20 lb and 40 lb to make the rig more responsive and easier to adjust. On the other hand, the B rig is built for heavier winds, with stronger braids like 50 lb in key areas to ensure the rig holds up under pressure.
