We asked BJU students, faculty and staff to grab their cameras and record their day from home to classroom and back again. Through their stories they captured an authentic glimpse of what life is like at BJU. Get ready for a 13-minute documentary that gives you an inside look at college life through their eyes.

BJU's policies are entertainment
From the BJU student handbook: Students may view PG-rated movies and movie trailers and TV-PG television
programming in both homes and the residence halls. Unrated content (including
original series on streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime or Netflix) frequently
contains objectionable content that has not been cut to meet rating standards and
is not appropriate. Students are not to attend a movie of any rating in a public
theater during a semester in which they are enrolled. This includes when away
from campus overnight (except for Thanksgiving and spring breaks). In addition,
students are to avoid displaying on campus any pictures or objects promoting
movies rated above PG-13.

I go to a secular school and don't party.. but I bet they would find a reason to discipline/expel me on account of my media intake (which isn't always G rated). That right there is absolutely unacceptable. Some people complain about the nanny state at secular colleges, yet these same people are perfectly fine with you being treated as a child at christian universities such as this one. Word of advice: if you want to go to a christian school, go to Gordon College.
No, BJU is strict,but not a nany state. They expect Young Christian men and women to responsibly conduct themselves like Christians.

A Prayer and a Blessing of SAFETY over the homes of all those who attend Bob Jones University! My grandson is thinking of applying and I must say that I was SHOCKED at the lack of safety at this University! Students in this video were recording video as they drove and walked close to the roads. Please Children be careful! I know that young ones are often handier with their phones than people from my generation but oh do I worry! Please Jesus keep our young sheep safe! A Blessing and a Prayer for all of you during this CHRISTmas season! Merry CHRISTmas and a SAFE and SMART New Year!

It's interesting. I went to a Christian college. Bob Jones has ridiculous rules. When I was a Christian living under strict rules like these, I was actually a lot happier. After college, I go into a lifestyle extremely "Wordly" . I have been mostly miserable ever since. You can tell the religious kids are very happy and content. Food for thought.

Love the school. As a Christian we are obligated to be good citizens, to serve the Lord, and minister to others. It's important to remain free to worship as we please. I love America too! Please, please, please Christians...talk to your conservative family members, neighbors, coworkers, church members, and encourage your Pastors to mention during announcements how important it is to turn out the vote. I don't know about you, but I like what President Trump is doing, he's securing our borders, reviving free speech, Appointing Conservative Federal Judges, Working toward reversing Roe vs. Wade, lowering taxes, bringing back industry which give us and our children more job opportunities, renegotiating trade deals that will stop unfair trade practices toward the US, protecting the 2nd Amendment, and etc. We need to have a RED STUNAMI to help the President continue to, MAGA.

Looks like a nice place. However did I see a woman teaching a religion class to a mixed group of males and females? That is considered anti-Biblical in my faith.
Hi Sue! All of our classes support a Biblical worldview, so a female faculty member speaking of her relationship with Christ does not mean it was a religion class.
