Very Nice work man, i recently took a sold as seen Ender 3 printer and fitted a 10W diode laser to it and used a Fish Tank air pump for the air assist, it's surprising what can be done if you think about it and experiment. il be taking more notice of this channel from now on...

The best part is using the laser cutter to cut out a vent hole for the laser cutter :D

can you make a circle with a diameter of 3mm or 4mm perfectly round? I have this problem if I use 2 motors on the Y axis. Is there a solution?

I connected 2 NEMA motors to one A4988 controller to solve similar problem. I think Arduino could be to slow to control 2 motors in sync

@@nuxrohox-cortx-6222 You can try exactly what I said ;) Connect both motors to one controller. Other solution is to use metal shaft to transfer rotation of one motor to the other side.

i think that your focus of the laser is slightly off. normaly the point of laser is like 20-30mm from the wood. i see that your laser is slightly higher, this could be resault of burning the edges to much.
