I feel that Holosun has gone up in quality and performance significantly. They are pushing the other competitors to improve. In the end their influence is helping to improve red dot optics throughout the industry.
I've seen the light, traded my eotech 512 for a holosun AEMS, idk why but I feel I got the better deal, better battery life and night vision compatible plus it's lighter
For real, I can see there being a big market for guys who want that edge to see in the dark but can’t spend 3000 dollars on one unit that you need to buy lasers and mounts to shoot with. If this is in the 1000-1500 dollar range I’ll definitely try it out
Holy shit, a thermal red dot for $1600? That's insane when Steiner optics is charging over $10,000 for their CQT thermal red dot. Holosun might have a new customer...
@@eternalvoid8153 I'm carrying an RMR as I type this. I work for an R&D outfit and we are tackling this very problem of battery shelf life in products like this that must perform or people die. We have been able to build a hybrid system, through concept, where rechargable battery technology is paired with the best capacitor tech to take the heavy lifting away from the battery. Whereas, the battery is the backup and the capacitor is the primary. The solar charges both, but only the capacitor is cycled until a no sunlight situation where the capacitor charges the battery. This exponentially extends the life of the battery thus extending the life of the entire product and the cost is greatly reduced. In the situation where a Holosun product has no battery, a capacitor would extend its use case scenario into dark environments.

I love this holosun guy, he's been @ shotshow for at least 3 years I've been watching him, he kills it. also holosun absolutely blows other optic companies out of the water.
It sucks a Chinese company knows what people want and delivers it more than American companies who should be at the top of the game for all things firearms. The only thing the American companies are doing better is durability and the price difference doesn't make it worth it
They need to come up with a two color reticle switch for two zeroes, one color for one bullet grain, another color for the other. Subsonic and supersonic for example.
HE or "Elite" 10yr warranty, HS or "Standard" 3yr warranty. They ship new with battery pre-installed also. Mine did & my Buddies did also. I've seen questions about that
Just got an EPS Carry MRS and it is so good. It's my third Holosun, have a 507k and 507c. These optics are top notch and built like tanks. Going to put the new Holosun PID light on my home defense setup. They just make good stuff.
I just picked up a Holosun X2 - HSS07K and the redical is crooked and it doesn't have an idle auto off and you have to turn it on or off only. Thats not gonna do for carry optics.
The Delta Point Pro SCS they showed in the video is also their official Sig P320 SCS. Same military standard optic footprint. I'm not very sure if they can cram the SCS power supply into a K size optic for the P365 right now so the EPS Carry MRS with the solar panel is still the solar solution to beat.
Hello Arthur, the internal battery is rated for a 10 year life span by the manufacturer. Anyone experiencing battery issues should contact Holosun. Hopefully this helps. - Adam (guy in the video)
Now that Holosun is making premium optics at higher prices , they may lose reliability reputation with the budget friendly optics by not caring or continuing the same quality in all the products they manufacture , no matter how budget friendly.. happens to all these companies.. they start off great and then lose their customers..
It would be nice if Holosun can fix the 509 series of sights. The quality control on them are sub par at best. Glue all over and not waterproof...don't buy Holosun until you've watched reviews on the optic.
Holosun isn't messing around. Love em or hate em they certainly are pushing a lot of compelling products
