Oh, it's great to know that something like that exists! Thanks a bunch for sharing, my friend! 😃 Did you have to set the receiver for SBus, right? Great flying as well!!! 😊 Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks Mario! Yes, I was using the tiny Happymodel EP1 receiver using SBUS. The Byme DB, like the Byme D, will also support PPM. Loving the little "keychain" camera! Thanks for watching, have a great day!
Seriously p-ed off that the 2 Byme-DBs that I got from an Aliexpress seller did not include the servo adapters only the S-bus adapter. Luckily we do have enough 1mm pitch 3-pin JST-SH pre-wired pigtails on hand plus enough servo cable to make up leads to suit any application. I need to put together at least another 1 of the flat EPP foamboard jets and try the DB on them.
Got mine from Aliexpress too but from the Radiolink "official" store! Could be useful as I have a twin motor "Zagi" type wing which may have some asymmetric thrust!! Not a fan of the prop in a slot models. Make a lot of noise but don't go very fast!! Which EPP jet are you building?
@@1nformatica Same sort of pusher prop-in-slot kit as you have there. Made up the Yellow "Hornet" version but might re-configure 1 of the 2 other kits into twin tractor versions. The Hornet flew well enough until an argument with a half-burnt wattle tree! Required a good bit of added carbon to realign it all. Also got 1 of the Heewing Hunter smaller versions so disliked by Lee @ Painless360. It is a bit sluggish.
Do you need a special receiver or will a standard 4ch mini receiver work with this? I was looking at getting the Byme DB to use with an existing 4ch flysky receiver I have but I am not sure if it will work. thanks!
The Byme -DB (and in fact all Byme gyros) needs an SBUS or PPM input, it does not support PWM i.e. standard servo output. Thanks for watching, have a great day!
