Hey everyone! A lot of you are bringing to my attention that the glitter that came with a couple of the kits is probably not biodegradable. I apologize for not looking into that & bringing awareness to the negative impact glitter has on the environment - especially if it's used in bath products. I simply wasn't thinking. I assumed because it was in a bath product they had already done that research for us... It just didn't raise any red flags in my mind at the time. (The Klutz kit does say theirs is cosmetic grade, but I couldn't find anything about it being biodegradable.)

It's alright, it's not your responsibility but it's nice to see it mentioned. It's basically pieces of plastic so I'm not even sure why they would add that to the kit while having enough energy to add mica dyes.
I hope people complaining also talk to the companies and not just someone using it as intended

Crafting is supposed to be fun. It is also very subjective. I am amazed at all the passively aggressive negativity in the comment section. Sharing ideas, craft kits, etc should be fun. Not open for so much criticism and critique. Your videos are great. I can not imagine how difficult it is to be a TH-cam personality. People have so much to say about who you should be and how you should do the things you love to do. Good grief.

Did you check to see if that was biodegradable glitter? safe to put down the drain in other words =) Usually those cheap kits just give you regular glitter which tbh is unsafe for the environment and your pipes

You could use the mold from kiss natural but the rest you could use what the klutz kit had to offer

As you said they all have different stuff in them but if i was getting one it would the Kiss naturals as the mould was way better to use and you can always buy different colours and smells to use with it.
My mom used to run a homemade soap business and I can honestly say that the soap drying quickly, along with it overflowing is completely normal! You wouldn't believe how many times I had to wash the tray in the microwave 🤣

1st place winner for me would be glycerin soap because of the molds
2nd place winner for me would be youniverse because it had more soap.than any of them
3rd place would be make your own soap because the molds were vary hard

Just a word of advice. You shouldn't use the glitter in those kits. It's not biodegradable.

I’m a Soaper with Organic MP Bases + Natural Body Products, Safest Soy Candles & Soy Melts so if anyone has any questions plz just ask.
If anyone is wanting to become a Soap Crafter with MP Base I highly recommend Stephenson Brand & NS = No Sweat Plus LS = Low Sweat
Edit: Always Spray Rubbing Alcohol after pouring soap to burst bubbles & it acts as a Glue when layering
Double Boiler Method is BEST when melting
Piece of advice for everyone here, if using a soap kit or a kit for ANYTHING that goes down the drain, do NOT use glitter! It is terrible for the environment xx
FWIW, please try your independent local toy store, art or craft store for any of these products first (especially the Klutz kit). Brick and mortar businesses matter. I'm the manager of a local toy store in Chicago. Shopping independent retail is like being economically environmental. It helps the most people, has the future in mind, and has your wants/concerns first in mind.

Hi. You can get the soap making kits at Walmart.
I love your channel but just a tip don't put glitter in the soap its not healthy for the environment and if the soap hardens in the measuring cup just reheat and work a little quicker just a few tips

If you had mixed the soap in the first kit like every 10 seconds it wouldn’t of hardened until you let it sit
It does harden too quickly. I bought a kit for my daughter and was difficult to mix something into the soap because it starts to harden by the time it’s ready to go into the mold.

I'd be concerned that the glitter in the kits is not environmentally friendly, or even safe to use on your skin. Of course, if you're just using them for decoration, then it doesn't matter so much.

I just hoped that you had checked the glitter before putting it in the soap. It didn’t look eco friendly and that stuff can be really dangerous to the marine life if it gets to the ocean and other water bodies from our sinks. I just hope that next time you will check the box packaging that usually says that if the glitter has aluminum and if it does please don’t use it in any bath products.

I was trying something different with editing since this isn't a tutorial & each kit has the same steps. But, I'm planning to go back to voiceover in future testing videos. Thank you for the feedback! :) Sorry parts of this one didn't work well for you.
