The sled gimmick is delightful. Another thing that stands out to me is the similarities between the upper cockpit and the combat repair drone in battle convoy / Optimus Prime
Absolutely. I didn’t think to mention it when I shot the bit to-camera, but when was filming the supporting content I regretted not making that observation.
Great review as always. I have one as well. I pick the base with its accessories and without the box or the dainauts last year on eBay for a reasonable price. Skybase is awesome.
Éste es un video muy bien editado y de alta calidad con el respeto que nos merecemos los viejos aficionados del coleccionismo, muchísimas gracias por tu trabajo sigue así! Saludos desde Argentina
Nice look at a fun vintage set! Your copy is in very good condition :) I love how it transforms and folds up into a smaller, sleeker craft. The only vintage one I have is Dia-Train - in pretty good condition too! Fun set.
Thanks! Dia-Train and Cosmo Roller are definitely on my list, I would have loved to feature a comparison in my DA-95 review. Where did you get yours? Mandarake?

My heart lit up when I saw that central gimmick with the pilot and the chute. Would have blown my tiny little mind in the 80s had I seen it.
Yoooooooo he wallace and gromits
Yeah it’s things like that that really make Diaclone for me 🙂
@@manjackson2772 "He wallace and gromits" is such an amazing phrase i need that rn
@@TiMona42 tbf it's more likely a thunderbirds thing but I don't care, I saw it there first
@@manjackson2772 yeah i was gonna say the same thing but the gromit is funnier

0:33, damn! That looks fab!!
Skybase! Where no Turtle has gone before!
Blast from the past! I had this toy and completely forgot it was part of the Diaclone line!
Great review. Your videos are always so well produced and relaxing to watch.
Thanks! They’re not that relaxing to make (yet) 😅 but the encouragement helps a lot

Yeah nice
I love your videos. Please make more.
Thanks so much! I’ll have more new videos soon 🙂
These videos are great! Is anyone aware of any other TH-cam channels that review vintage toys with anywhere near as much detail and quality?

I was so into japanese Mecha back in the '80s, unfortunately, we were too poor to buy even the cheapest
