You explained everything to perfection better than trafic school but which AUX button did you press to cover trunk. The 1.button,same one to upp or 2.button?
I did 7.5t sleeper cabs for a few years on general haulage. Some of the work was decent but invariably its awkward loads, heavy pallets and tail lifts often to rubbish locations you struggle to park or get the stuff off, house deliveries and all sorts of garbage. Never again. Ended up doing something else for a long time after that. This is the work I want if I get my class 2.
And when driving, going round an almost dead bend DO NOT Swing out like what happened tome a week ago , when a tipper's wheels curved the side of my car, as I too was going round the bend in the opposite direction and when I got home found I had a lovely unwanted scuff mark where the impact happened. And do Tipper divers worry - No they never feel it when their wheels hit car bodies. Cheers Lena so is that how you tip TESCO Pallets?
You usually get a warning message on the dashboard stating that the tail board is open, most of the new tippers also have a camera that oversees the body, you can kind of see If its closed. I always check mine regardless, but some drivers dont bother, usually the sensors on the actual tail board are accurate and will display a warning on the dashboard if it's not shut properly, I never had any problems with it 👍 It's the same with PTO if you forget to turn it off the truck itself shouldn't let you drive at more than 5mph, warning message should pop up again with a sound (it can blow the PTO if you do drive it with it on)
Another fantastic video Lena... I've just got my class 2 and a tipper is the most interesting to me right now. With the CSCS did you take the one day course?
Lena!!!! So nice to see you again ❤ I was getting worried about you Nice instructions on the tipper I'll stick with my 53" lol I hope all is well Cheers from the states 👍
Hi RaysNgas Here in the UK we only have rigid or articulated tippers we don't have trucks with a dog trailer like you guys in NZ or Oz but if they were legal I doubt they'll be useful for tipping into a paving machine!
Btw Ray we have mostly European trucks Fodens ERFs etc are a distant memory my last new truck was a Hino (no longer sold in the UK) but was as a good cost effective truck!
Hi it’s Dan H from Instagram Won’t say my last name but I enjoyed this video hopefully after lockdown I can take my class 2 lessons again so any tips or video ideas maybe new drivers
Hi Dan nice to see you on here. Woohoo 🥳🥳 you getting in the game 👌🏻 Wide turns, looots of mirror checks, wide on bends. Every time you driving your car think how you’d be handling a lorry right now. Every time I see a speed limit test you knowledge of what’s it’d be for a lorry. Good luck and keep me posted!!!
Wow, just discovered your channel. This was interesting to watch. And you're so pretty :) Looking strong but still feminine. I love it. I hope you don't mind a little compliment, heheh. I'm just enjoying watching you. Subscribed!
I bet I my self drove tarmac trippers for 20 years out of Sodbury and Tytherington now a tec for hanson could be up Appleford for a few days next week..
It’s irrelevant why you go in the vehicle you have entered a place of work and you should by law record that you have done so.... and you have also started the engine to operate the vehicle so in the eyes of the law you have worked either way...if I was you I would delete the video just in case somebody from vosa will watch the video as obviously your name is on here ....
Obviously after 32 years of driving tachograph vehicles I am wrong....carry on doing what your doing as you obviously have got a lot more experience than myself...
Great little informative video Lena..Never done tipper work before but starting on motorways 09.08.21 on nights..Thanks very much.👍👍👍👌👌
Ooh good luck, nights can be stressful but don’t let them bully you into rushing too much 🙈
You explained everything to perfection better than trafic school but which AUX button did you press to cover trunk. The 1.button,same one to upp or 2.button?
2 button. Thank you for watching :))
Excellent video Lena👍 thanks for sharing your knowledge with us 👍
My pleasure 😊

Yeah it can be tough 😓 tippers are easy these days with a button for a tailboard just don’t get stuck on the mud 🤣
We missing you need more videos, keep up the good work
Working on it!
Do Hanson ever clean their trucks?
There was actually a guy there washing them that day 👌🏻 next time I’m there they should be nice and shiny 🤩

Surely you need to check the tailgate is closed after tipping the load ?

No tacho in hope vosa not watching this as your actually working by opening the door so tacho should be inserted...
But what if I’m working on more than one truck? Or say i forgot my sunglasses in from last night? 🤷🏻♀️😜

I’m pretty sure domestic rules apply - I’ve not even moved it. Whereas is perfectly acceptable to move a vehicle in the yard if it’s on the way
