    Just a thought on the concept of 'value'. If you spend say £60k on an extension and get the benefit/enjoyment from it every day for say 12 years before you move on, then you might consider that as good value for money. Contrast that with owning two new cars at £30k each over the same period, that will see a depreciation cost of c£18k. A modest increase then in the value of the extended property of say £40k + 12 years of benefit makes the deal for my example domestic dwelling extension a no brainer. Just be mindful that all property has an upper price ceiling - so doubling value of spend is subject to many local factors. Liked these vids so much I subscribed.👍
