- Love this video, Amelia was so vocal about the present Teddy left for her! It’s unlike any of the dogs to go toilet in the house but for some reason the other night Teddy did. And he left the poo for Amelia to discover in her playroom, much to her disgust!
Whilst we were being entertained by the doggies and the holidays Mia was improving her speaking skills. She is able to articulate so well.
Yes, I usually have trouble understanding her and I was surprised how clear she was.

You would definitely be appalled then by how a lady I used to live with trained her two chihuahuas! Not only were they "told off" for accidents in the house, but they were also spanked and launched out the door to the backyard every time. Needless to say, they learned and stopped leaving their "presents" all over the wooden floor and carpet. No visits to the pound needed. ✌️
I love how Teddy admits guilt next to the poop while Mia reprimanded him. Then apologizes. He is truly a gent in fur.

It is amazing how Teddy knows he did something. Such a smart dog, and so sweet and humble with those cute ears down in guilt. A lovely angel of a dog and amazing little girl talking so much now and expressing herself more clearly. What a life!
Not sure he does. He went over and sniffed it. No need to investigate your own. He didn't look sheepish until he was blamed. I suspect it was one of the other two, and Teddy tried to wake them up because he was snitching, or just wanted morning pettings.

Teddy had such a guilty look on his face when you called him inside 🤣
I thought his demeanor looked a little guilty, but also like he knew what it was all about and that he did not expect to be "told off". I was amazed at how he did what the mother told him and went right into Mia's room and up to the poop, smelling it a little bit, as if to acknowledge, "Yeah, I did that". I think the dog was not afraid, but was sure he was in the right, though sorry for having to do what he did. He later went and sat beside Mia twice as if to say he didn't want to do it, but he had no choice. Maybe he went to her room after the parents did not pay attention and found he could no longer "hold it". It shows a dog who has been treated fairly and with respect on a regular basis. This makes my day happier and more hopeful.
She has just learned that poo happens. I love the way Mia asks so very sweet for you to pick the poo up.

Yep, the house has been officially christened now, just sad that it had to be Mia's playroom. And Mia had every right to tell Teddy off the way she did (she's so talkative now). Now you know to get up when Teddy jumps on the bed in the wee hours of the morning.

Mom didn't jump up fast enough( because believe it or not, moms are super tired), & the dog couldn't wait anymore. Gosh, too bad we can't all be perfect like you! And yes, the toddler had every right to tell the dog off. It was her room! I'll never understand how some women cant be more uplifting to other women instead of acting like a spoiled brat & think they are better than everyone else?!

@@garyjones2561 Sacramento area, unfortunately. I think they just surpassed SF as far as homeless population. I'm in a smaller city right outside of it though, maybe 15 miles. So it's.... tolerable. Ungodly expensive though, and tons of homeless trickling out of Sac into every crevice in this area. If it wasn't for my Nana and Pop still being alive? We'd be GONE. I have a responsibility until then, though. I want them to live forever, but at the same time I can't wait to go.

Our cocker spaniel left a poo in our new home, years ago. I think they get confused, or maybe just pissed. Amelia has wonderful language skills, and adds so much expression in her story telling. 😊❤❤

Emma how in the world did you control your laughter after that display of extremely polite articulate scolding to Teddy???? I fell off my chair from the belly laughs. Amelia is going to be one smart and cheeky teenager.....I absolutely love it. A strong minded girl makes for a powerful women. Amelia even had the hand gestures to go with it. That was just too adorable. Yes if dogs wake you up they have to go and if you don't react right away well they leave you presents. Been there too many times in the wee hours and they had upset bellies to know that warning sign. You are an incredible family and I love how you have instilled politeness in Amelia. Please, thank you and excuse me are forgotten words in today society. Bravo to you for teaching Amelia the importance of being polite no matter what.
