@@SkinnysBooks For as old as it Daggerfall is, it still goes hard. The world building is definitely strong, and the gameplay is decent. It's all free, so definitely worth a look!
Bethesda dropped off, Oblivion was the first game to retcon the previous games continuing into skyrim. Therefore, the elder scrolls is a trilogy, skyrim and oblivion are non-canon trash.

Oblivion will always be the gold standard. They had no clue what they wanted when Arena came out
